Hiking the Heybrook Lookout and Index Town wall!

I took advantage of some beautiful weather at the end of January and headed out to Index to get some views. Explored two familiar trails, the Heybrook lookout and the Index Town wall. The lookout is a great family trail that I highly recommend, while the town wall is a steep boot path that is difficult to follow. Enjoy!

Just visited the Town Wall viewpoint on Feb 2. Never disappoints. Heading to the Index Lookout Point tomorrow (it's where there's a flag you can see from town).

Thanks for another beautiful place to explore. Curios about what appears to be a sealed up cave behind you at the end of your video. Couple questions if you don't mind, How old are you ? I'm 60 my wife is 40 and we are sure you are younger. How many steps to the top of that lookout? Thanks again for taking my time to the top.

The cave at Index was a test site for a drilling machine used for boring tunnels. There's a similar one somewhere in the Money creek area. Later, it was used for experiments trying to detect gravitational waves.
