  • Not to be confused with Teanaway Peak, Teanaway Butte is a summit in the foothills of the teanaways. This summit is accessed by a series of logging and forest roads and leads to the location of an old fire lookout that has since been removed. Panoramic early season views and solitude can be found here, enjoy!

No planes. No I90 car drone. Sweet hike. Maybe a MT Bike would be pretty fun also

I like this one. Rainier blasting from west. Good dog 🐕 route. Me and Doodles are doing this one.

Another great video. It looks like the lookout tower was built in 1940 and they burned it down in 1968. Can you imagine what the views from the top of the tower must have been like?

I will say this the view of Mount Stuart from Longs Pass off Teanaway/Esmeralda Basin is one of the prettiest 😍 I have seen in west early June.
And it literally has a road down into Ingalls creek. Bam. I don't do long hikes. But down Ingalls is the only one I would do at age 64.
    No dogs from Pass side.

Enjoyed your enthusiasm. B-roll is difficult but adds lots to the overall experience. Looks like they had a fire? Thanks for sharing.
