*Hello.... I like this Alpine Lakes Scramble, the forest is dense and very green and sustainable, very suitable for climbing, trekking or hiking activities... greetings from Indonesia....*
Yay!!!! You did it. Nice work my friend. That was one of my most epic hikes to date. Incredibly steep, demanding, but absolutely worth it. And add you the fact that you had to re-climb/scramble sections just to get that shot. You're crazy ;) Love it! What's next on the bucket list? Chikamin peak and Glacier lake are next up for me.
I loved the view from Hibox, It took us 4 tries to summit. The first three were trying to find the boot trail off the main trail to Rachel Lake. Took two to find the right path up the summit block. If you want steep, I recommend Baring.
Wow, amazing views. The view of Glacier Peak thru the keyhole looked almost unreal. A little to the right or to the left and you wouldn’t even be able to see that.
Thanks for sharing!! Doing Hibox this week. Bit of a drive so considering starting early am before sunrise and then camping at the trailhead when finished. How long did it take you from start to finish?
this took me 7.5 hours of moving time, 8 hours total. It's deceptive because you cruise to the bootpath and then you are still a ways from the summit because of the steep climb. Good luck!
This was harder than Daniel in my opinion. I wouldn't say either are difficult. But Daniel is barely a scramble(97% class 2), so if you can do Hibox you can do Daniel for sure.
Tanks for the wonderful nature and the angel.😇😊

One of the most unique views in the area, I'd love a photographer to go capture it properly
Love the video. Always wanted to do hibox. Please do more scrambles ... how about Kaleetan peak?
Kaleetan has been on the list for a while, I will get to it one day!
