Love the steak restaurant onboard. I'll be back onboard in three weeks for my fourth trip on the Mardi Gras but I always book it on the first night to get the free bottle of wine 🤪
Best meal Ive had in a long time. From the chefs appetizer to the dessert, everything was a 10/10. The service was chefs kiss as well. Highly reccomend the spiced rub steak.
I have to say that I have been extremely impressed that you can do so much on a ship like that. Can you believe I have never been on a cruise before? HAHAHA. I am just afraid of being bored. LOL. Thanks for taking us this last few months. Giving me some insight. LIKE 57. 👍👍👍👍
I think there are a lot of people who are worried about being bored. Many cruise lines offer so many activities don’t have to be bored unless you want to be lol 😆 hope your doing well friend
Its your travel and lodging enroute to a destination but there are many things to do enroute vs sitting for hours on a plane or vehicle bored. Think of it that way and you can make the best of all thing’s available on the ship you choose.
The best meal I had on my one Carnival cruise was at the steak house. I found the MDR meals very ordinary and the buffet lacking. I set the bar with Celebrity, where the food is so much better. However, it is also more expensive. While Carnival gave value for the money, I'm grateful to be able to use Celebrity in the future. Far smaller crowds, more staff per guest, etc. But, I love cruising, as do many. So for the value conscious, Carnival is a decent choice.
I would absolutely agree with your comparison. We had a lot of nice meals elsewhere on the ship (many included) but the MDR did not compare to Celebrity. Thanks for watching and commenting.
We were very disappointed with 555. Very small portions and could not get another entree. We would not go back. We normally cruise with RCL and the food is much better than Carnival. Just my opinion.
Hi Linda, thank you for sharing….I have to say the food and presentations looked underwhelming. I don’t sail carnival. I enjoy Holland America and will say the Pinnacle Grill is spectacular. Hope Aron is doing well after his surgery.

There was no extra charge for the apps and dessert but there is if you want a second main. Happy travels 🦩
When booking the steakhouse ahead of time in the Taxes it states TBD , did yall incur any extra post fees after you had cooked the dinner ? ❤
