First ever cruise ship I went on with my 8-year-old daughter in 2019 from Sydney, Australia Easter weekend sample cruise from Thursday to Monday up and down the East Coast We had so much fun during this time together. One of my fondest memories was the Easter egg hunt on the ship they put on. The staff was great. After COVID, carnival moved spirit and replaced it with splendour in Sydney port. It was not the same when we went in 2022. Thank you for bringing back happy memories!
I am so glad to bring back some happy memories 😀 We sailed on the Splendor in 2014..the pink doughnut ship 😂 But I agree, we love the Spirit more than the Splendor. Thank you so much for sharing your story and for watching! 💗
Thank you - great tour video - yes, we love the Spirit class as well. We have been on the Pride but not the Spirit yet. We have a cruise booked on the Spirit in Jan 2025 for my birthday. Can't wait! 😬
The Pride is our girl!! We have been on all 4 Spirit class ships, but it's something about the Pride we love the most. Have a great cruise on the Spirit and thanks for watching!
Went on the Luminosa last year out of Seattle and now we're going on the Spirit next year for the same cruise. We normally cruise out of Galveston though.
Going to be going on my first cruise in November 2024. Can't wait. Thanks for sharing. At around 15 - 16 minutes, I could no longer hear you speaking...I was only able to hear the music.
Hope you have a great time on your first cruise! I know there were some parts that were hard to hear in the video, I tried out a new editing software 🤦♀️. Thanks for watching!
This is an excellent vlog that was very comprehensive and gave me the information I was looking for. We are going to Alaska on her in May and this was so awesome to watch! Thank you!
Outside of a few staff members here and there, it was pretty empty in this video. Was this an empty sailing or did you just get lucky and have no traffic everywhere you were?
Hi was curious you mentioned you were in Skagway yet you don't look like you're in Port and the parting shot is from another boat going away from the ship.... Also, what time of the day did you film this?
This ship tour was a mixture of 2 different days, and one of the days was in the port of Skagway. I try to film in the wee hours of the morning so I am not filming a ton of people in the tour.
The Spirit class is a group of ships of the same layout. So there are 4 Carnival ships that are in the Spirit class category (Spirit, Miracle,Legend & Pride). Out of Carnival's different classes of ships, thus, class is our favorite 😍
This cruise was sold out, but why it looks so empty is because I do my ship tours early in the morning. So most of the shots were done around 5AM. I do this so I can show the venues better. Thanks for watching!
I’m just curious why people like cruising on these older ships that are outdated, feature less amenities and are usually priced much more than what is offered on more modern ships on other cruise lines? I’m not dedicated to any particular cruise line…I shop for best rates, itinerary and newer ships with best amenities. Amenities aren’t always the most important, but they sure do make a cruise much more enjoyable especially when the cruise fares are less than half these older/outdated ships in most cases. After sailing on much better ships, the Spirit seems so blah and boring. 🤷🏻♂️
For us, we love the older ships for their charm, plus the smaller ships make it more intimate and cozy. There are more amenities on the newer ships for sure, but we still do like the older ships better. But that is our opinion. Theres a ship for everyone out there 😄 Thank you for watching!
@calientemac1 I'd love to see where you're getting your pricing lol. If everyone was given the option of choosing the newest ship vs the oldest ship leaving out of the same port, the same dates, same itinerary for the same price... most would choose the newer one. But that's not realistic. I live in Mississippi. 45 minutes from me is Mobile Al. There is 1 carnival ship that leaves from there and then New Orleans 1.5hrs away.. 1 leaves from there. So my options are limited without adding the additional cost of flights or travel. Unless you're close to a major city cruise terminal, you're only options are going to be older ships semi local. If I did want to fly down to say Miami. I have a ton of options but... what sail dates will work with my time off? How long can I cruise? None of the newer ships are doing the 3 day $199 per person Nassau trips. They're all running 6+ day trips. Add to the fact that responsible, organized people who specifically want to sail on a certain New Ship, book their cruise WAY in advance.. People like me who try to book a cruise for next month find everything "In my budget" sold out lol
Excellent video. We did a 9 night cruise on the Spirit from San Diego, years ago. Looking forward to sailing out of Mobile in Jan. doing B2B2B, family members joining us for different legs of the journey. Spirit class is our go to ship, can’t beat the layouts and passenger size. Sea ya 🛳
❤ In love already. ❤️ Waiting patiently for her arrival to Mobile. Thank you so much for the tour. Bless you 🙏 both.
Awesome!! Thank you so much and hope you have a great cruise whenever you sail on her ❤️🛳
I will be porting from Mobile as well on the 28th
I am beyond excited! My fiancee and I are cruising on Spirit for our honeymoon!
Awesome!! Hope you have an amazing honeymoon cruise and congrats!
Gosh... Spirit is absolutely gorgeous
She is for sure ❤️
Taking her on the Panama Cruise in April, this ship is opulent! Thanks for the tour!
Thanks for watching! We did a Partial Panama Canal Transit on the Pride in 2022 and it was amazing! Have a great cruise 🛳
This was the exact type of walk through I was looking for ty!
Glad to be of help! Thanks for watching 😊

@@DaveBrandysExcursionsTravel You are welcome. Travel safely.
Went on the Luminosa last year out of Seattle and now we're going on the Spirit next year for the same cruise. We normally cruise out of Galveston though.
We have never been on the Luminosa, but we thought that the Spirit was the perfect size of ship for our Alaskan sailing. Hope you have a great cruise!
Yes, you are right... the Carnival Spirit is the Best. By the end of 2024 we will have 39 days on the Spirit!
awesome!! We love our spirit class ships! Thanks for watching!
Thanks for another excellent ship tour! We can't wait to relive our Alaska cruise through your vlogs! 😀🚢♥
Absolutely!! 😄
Our first sailing ever was in May 2022 on the Carnival Spirit. We loved it!
Awesome!! Thanks for watching!

Awesome! We will be on the Carnival Liberty for NYE 🎉
@@DaveBrandysExcursionsTravel .. that’s fantastic.. y’all have a great time and happy new year 🎊🎆🎈
@@DaveBrandysExcursionsTravel .. is the pool heated on the spirit ?

I recorded our ship tours early in the morning since it's so much easier to film venues on the ship, but our cruise was sold out.
Bringing back memories 🙂. Can't wait until 2025 to sail on her again. 😊
That itinerary you guys are on looks absolutely amazing!
Come with us 🙂
@carlamcclendon5111 oh we wish! We just need to win the lottery 💰
Me too. 😂
Im so excited to sail on her on dec 1st 2024 but not a big fan of the ship so far only looking forward to the steakhouse.
yum! The steakhouse is always good 🤤😋Hope you have a great cruise! 🛳️
I've been trying to sail twice a year at least. We just left Valor in April and had a blast.
Versailles - Ver Sigh - like the palace in France
Thank you!! Now I know how to pronounce it 😊

Like... were you the only person on this cruise? 😮
Maybe 😏 🤣 I do our ship tours EARLY in the morning so there aren't a lot of people around. Thanks for watching!
Hi Y’all! We’re doing a mother-daughter cruise to Alaska on this ship July 2025!!
Yeah!!! You girls will have an amazing time! 🩷🛳
What do you mean by "spirit class" ship?

What time does the punchlines open? 2:34
Typically, comedy starts around 8ish.
Where is the spa on this ship?
It is on Deck 9 forward 😊
Why no one is on the ship?
