Glorifying God is really important to me. At the moment I am trying to learn Spanish and I am spending a lot of time in Duolingo. I want God to be in all of my life. So I’m trying to glorify him so that I don’t idolize my phone! That’s all I wanted to say!!! God bless all y’all!!
As long as you don’t do those things to get distracted and to GLORIFY GOD, you can grow with HIM doing that and in many ways through HIS GIFTS! Just make sure you still make some time to be with GOD and focus on other things when needed, we are stewards! Let’s pray for good stewardship ❤🙏🏼🫶🏼😊
A great way to practice is to listen to/read familiar texts in Spanish. When you get a little further along, you can read the Bible in Spanish, or listen to it on RUclips if you can’t get a Spanish copy.
Great video that is discussing such an important topic...I cant believe that this has been uploaded for a year now and not a single comment had been added. So I'll be the first I guess. And I'll do it for The Glory of God.
When I came to faith I was supported by someone I met at a game shop. All they did was show-up as themselves and showed me love. One day, years later, Jesus invited me to Him, I answered and knew who I could run too for support. The person I met at the game shop! I would never have met a Christian any other way. Reflecting back, I think I needed that support. I now use video games to help kids at Church. Research shows kids learn way faster and more deeply when using play (same for adults tbh). I have been able to create a community for those who said they had previously felt disconnected from those in the Church despite being there for a while. This is also through games. You can use video games to bring others to the Lord and create a Godly community. Just make sure it isn't for distraction/numbing and that way it isn't a meaningless game. ❤
This applies also to watching pornography and masterbation at the same time. God wants us to live a pure and holy life. So we must only cultivate our sex life according to the will of God. One man and one women. Alone. In private. And nothing else.
I was just having a mini existential crisis I’ve changed my mind but my line of thought was that if I go to heaven I’ll be stripped of my emotions anyway but I realize now that that just simply isn’t true
