Mr. Penning, Merry Christmas from the US. I recently found your carp fishing videos and really enjoy them. I’m envious of you guys in the UK and the amount of carp fishing tackle and gear you have available. In the US, we have a few mail order carp tackle companies but I don’t have a local shop to be able to shop for specifically carp tackle/gear at. I would like to try maggots but they aren’t an option here. Keep up the videos and look forward to seeing you in the New Year.

Is it so hard to give carp a few weeks rest?? I mean u can fish all year leave them alone in the winter when they are preserving energy. Common sence..
Lowa are German but have great UK service on their website. Even go up to size 15uk. Bought some tibet gtx just last week. Best boots I've ever owned by a mile. They are a wide wide fit though. Lacing system is amazing! Tried all over premium boots that go up to Yorkshire sizes and they all pail in comparison. If only Crispi did big sizes!
Brilliant……love Mr Penning’s approach and seems like an all round top bloke. Be aware guys that the cheap bags of supermarket corn is not cooked, so I generally find it very inferior. And it’s not particularly good for the fish unless you cook it…

Question: with the clothing you have recommended, what gloves do you use. I’ve used so many different types and never really sorted a decent pair
