I am so stoked to see how this turns out! That truck brings back so many memories. As a kid I used to walk past a 4Runner like this every day on my way to school. Then once I got to school I would sit and draw pictures of it during class. I always drew it with a lift and bigger tires and it was going on all sorts of off road adventures! My drawings got me in trouble so many times for "Not paying attention in class."
Look forward to more videos of this build, starting my journey on a 88 build and picking it up next week, hopefully its as clean as this unicorn. (only have like 5 videos of it from owner...full send!..but looks super clean Was in California till 2019 and will be coming to Pennsylvania and will never see snow or horrible salt in the east
DUDE , I just bought my dream truck … same exact one dude. Have similar plans and exact similar condition. ‘87. Love this stuff. If you don’t put up content please reach out if you’re still working on this and going through it ! I really could use this type of knowledge.
My uncle has the same one execs and more SR5 1987 I know it was a four-cylinder they look like the 1995 forerunner wheels they look good on there a lot of people back 80 9060 1998 would keep the stock wheels and get them chrome dipped 👍👍👍👍👍
My uncles is sitting in his garage I believe it only has like 60,000 if that original miles garage camp I know he room bottom piece of the new carpet the factory carpet he’s a coffee years back I just bought some coffee but everything in it is original he has rims and tires but they’re not the forerunner tires I think they were the directional American racing wheels
I’m selling it if you know only one interested. The more has been completely rebuilt by LC Engineering and now makes 180 hp. I did pretty much a frame off on it but still needs to reassembled
