That Chiffon margarine commercial has cracked me up. And even after more than 50 years, it's STILL not nice to fool Mother Nature! 😂 Thanks so much for sharing, Ed! 👍🏻 I have a very special S.A.U. related question for you. Can you please give us a recap/synopsis of what happened in Morphdale on the original "A Quest for Love" for the week of October 8-12, 1973?
Well, what can I say?! Sorry, mother nature! 😂 Thanks for enjoying! Well, according to sources: Andy gets sentenced to 7 years in prison for the murder of Alyssa Matthews, Philip gets kidnapped by thugs hired by Dolph Meratto (one of them looks like Phil), Theresa suffers a heart attack, Marisa tries to kill Louisa as she has been stalking her for months trying to win back Harris, and Dolph receives the news that Libby was shot and killed by a group of terrorists in Paris.
I wonder what the difference was between regular and Lady Grecian Formula? And it’s interesting that the guy in the Alka-Seltzer commercial says”I don’t take it for every little thing, only when I need it.”(My understanding is that some people used it as a “cure-all” back in the day. I wonder if the FTC made him say that?)
Excellent quality. I enjoyed this very much.
These are some of the very first commercials in my lifetime!

These are from 1973, not 1972.
