She had a lot more matches in 2013 when she just dominated because of her serve. 2015 was more about relying on her serve to get out of holes because her serve wasn't as consistent earlier in the match. 2015 gave me so many stressful moments because of that lol
I disagree. Her 2012 serving was more effortless and relaxed. In 2015 she served big when she needed to, but ONLY when she needed to, and her body and muscles looked way more tense. Plus, in 2012 the groundstrokes and defensive skills were much stronger, whereas in 2015, if the serve came back, she lost the point way more often than she did in 2015. But both years definitely featured some legendary serving. Don’t forget 2010 Wimbledon as well.
If Coronavirus can give us our lives back later this year I hope Serena can at least get this movement back. Not 100% but it’s better than her current nervous movement. Yes she’s nearing 40 but she’s still got the goods!
I don’t see her movement improving until her fitness improves. I’d love to see her this lean again. Every time I expect her to come back leaner, she looks the same. When I see her back and lean af, that’s when I know she’s been putting in mad work and means business. And I think her movement will benefit a great deal.

To be honest once she won a Slam she did not keep having the drive that got her to winning one.Everyone is different but I do think this is happening to Osaka .To have a strong mind and drive at all times like Steffi ,Monica,Martina N ,Martina H,Chris Evert Lloyd, Serena. You have to think it every day and moment. With so much social media and all this crazy computer communication it will be very hard to see another winning several after Serena. Times have changed so many other things are a big distraction.

Sloane does have the drive and passion for the game that the williams sisters have. She could've been so much more successful but she just seems uninterested now.
Even though she hit more aces in 2012 I prefer her 2015 serve. She was hitting 120+ mph serves like 20 times per match it was unbelievable
She also played more matches in 2012 which can attribute to why she hit more aces. Her 2015 serve definitely could've been the actual better serve.
