I don't know? Maybe in the house??! But the fact they're alive suggests to me they're probably sufficiently hydrated. In fact they probably using that huge bowl of water with coloured spots on that's really difficult to see.
That ledge isnt good for them, they don't have depth perception so the could easily fall off, and because they r so fragile they could easily die from it
I have 2 guinea pigs at home, they keep their bedding in their house, where they sleep. I imagine these guinea pigs also keep their bedding (sorry beddibg) where they sleep.

Guinea pigs are not burrowers like hamsters. They don't need bedding. My guinea pigs are on fleece
