Out of all Seagal's movies, I'd say this is the most "normal." The violence is toned down, there's more focus on dialogue, and the villain isn't an over-the-top caricature. This can either be seen as good or disappointing, but it's definitely noticeable.
Why does everyone make fun of him so much now? I mean the man is probably almost 70 years old. And even then I bet you wouldn't fight him. He'd probably still woop your at his age. Dumbass.
Funny thing is he didn’t do much besides a wrist lock, a throat grab and a kick to the nuts, brought them all down without laying a single punch. That’s what I love about Seagal, he is way to practical.
This was an underrated Seagal film, I do like the country songs in it and he had also one of his best acts here, and it also stared Merg Helgenberger in it
Recently watched this from start to finish and searched this scene out again. Quote "if I let you in I lose my job" "better than your teeth". Heck Ima gonna watch this again !
He called it in and didn't bother checking him like CPR, or stop the bleeding ect, moronic Hollywood, I guess its cool to watch, takes you away from reality for a little while
This really was his last "good" movie. Above the Law, Hard To Kill, Marked For Death, Out For Justice, Under Siege, On Deadly Ground, Executive Decision, Under Siege 2, and then Fire Down Below.
He has a big ego, likes to invent tall tales about his early life (like that he worked for the CIA), and has been accused by multiple women of sexual harassment and rape. Also he kept getting fatter (which is not something one traditionally associates with action movie stars) and the quality of his films went steadily downhill.
I know right, poor guy was probably just standing there looking at the slot machines and day dreaming he hit the jackpot, Probably pictured himself tossing gold coins in the air in his own happy place and then BLAM!, gets blasted lol.
When the camera is BEHIND Orin you see the blond chick get up as Seagul walks in and proceeds to put her left hand around Orin's neck, cut to the next shot from the FRONT and she is completely vanished from view...Anybody else notice this too?
Sequel: Orrin's still got a lot of secure offshore accounts worth billions. He hires an army of mercenaries to spring him, whack out his son for snitching, and then go after Jack & his fam.
This movie would have been a little better if every press company in that state would have distributed newspaper articles officially proclaiming the innocence of the woman who was falsely accused of murdering her father.
Image even when the court’s sentence you to 30yrs and you do your time at the end you still have to face Judgment Day from the Lord-God doesn’t matter who you are.
He probably liked the environmental message and the theme of a small town being rescued from control of a company. Plus he got to be the sleazy villain heading said company.
You would THINK with all his money, he could hire some REAL bada•• bodyguards to obstruct the REAL bada••! Oh, how EASILY he got those bouncers out of his way!
I thought his movies were crap. This scene was quite good 😂. I've witnessed far worse dialogue and acting. And he seems believable as a tough guy here.
Well those would most likely be the realistic charges and sentence that would stick on someone with that kind of money and power, which would pretty much be a life sentence for someone his age anyways, as he said himself.
This was a turning point for Seagal, though I’d still regard it as part of his classic era, it’s the 2nd weakest movie from his golden era (On Deadly Ground was the worst). The fight scenes were too sanitized and the plot was a bit convoluted, though the country music scene gimmick worked well enough. Decent flick, but nowhere near on par with Out For Justice, Marked For Death, Under Siege or The Glimmer Man. After this movie, or arguably because of it, Seagal’s movies went to crap soon after.
@@kevinfinnerty8414 It had potential, but I really think Seagal should have brought someone else in to direct, there were too many awkward scene jumps and Seagal’s monologues were too drawn out.
@@hellsunicorn I wonder if Seagal thought this film would in some way "make amends" for On Deadly Ground. Not only does it have a "save the environment" message, but its villains aren't cartoonishly evil like those of ODG, and Seagal's big speech in the church is actually tied to the plot (as opposed to the big speech at the end of ODG that just felt like a documentary bolted onto an action movie.)
@@IsmailofeRegime It almost seems like a revised version of ODG now that you mention it. I think the direction here was superior, but honestly, had ODG had proper direction, given the caliber of the actors involved, it could have rivaled his older stuff. Seagal got cocky, which is an all too common tale following success, and he forgot that no great talent excels by itself. George Lucas was a brilliant story writer, but his best works always involved someone else directing. Going it alone rarely works in movies.
That bit about Tyrone always made me laugh.

Hes actually a decent actor. He does not seem to be acting out. Seems natural.
It is decent to watch.
Naaa I enjoyed this one. I appreciate this movie and it was nice to watch
This was back when he made good movies.
True words 🌟✔️
Yeah those days are long gone.
This movie sucked ass. I don't know what you're on about. The only movies that were passable were Above the Law, and both Under Siege movies.
Back when seagal could walk past 10 feet without heavy breathing
Why does everyone make fun of him so much now? I mean the man is probably almost 70 years old. And even then I bet you wouldn't fight him. He'd probably still woop your at his age. Dumbass.
I love how everyone in the background just carries on.
Doesn't concern them so why get involved ?
I never laughed so hard in my life. The way he took down those four guards was not only bad ass, but utterly hilarious.
Actually, he let the one that said if he let him in he would lose his job go. He took the other three down.
@@theicchamp06 Good catch.

My favorite line was the bar scene "...I'm gonna have to properly educate you on how to beat the shit out of somebody." Famous last words.
I like how he just walks away and doesn't check on the agent 🤣🤣🤣
He called it in
I was thinking the same thing!!!!
He said call the ambulance
He called it in and didn't bother checking him like CPR, or stop the bleeding ect, moronic Hollywood, I guess its cool to watch, takes you away from reality for a little while
I just did that
This really was his last "good" movie. Above the Law, Hard To Kill, Marked For Death, Out For Justice, Under Siege, On Deadly Ground, Executive Decision, Under Siege 2, and then Fire Down Below.
One of the 4 guards is the dude in Blade as a bouncer that was thrown through the window by Westley. The dude is a martial artists as well
I remember that guy he asked Blade for an invite or something and he threw him through a window
He was also binder or bender something like that in the movie SGT. Bilko
Kris Kristofferson as well
It's Wesley.
Tyrone part got me dead 💀😂
Seagals top student is on the left playing one of the bouncers. Sensei Larry Reynosa. Fantastic.
Never would have known that
I actually like this movie 😂😂😂
@bigal8752 I do too.
Love this Movie, 🤗❤️
My favorite Seagal film
Mine too. Lots of good fights and dialogue like here.
Did anybody see Ritchie?
@@mgtowlite7414 Richie*

Did he say why he killed Bobby Lupo?
This and marked for death are my favourites by Seagal
Id say in order: Above the Law, Hard to Kill, and this movie we’re his best movies
What about glimmer man? And that one movie about the Indians or something..that was a good film too
Marked for Death and Under Seige were great too.
Underseige
Out for justice, under siege 1 and 2 glimmer man all great mobjes
On Deadly Ground
This scene is pretty bad ass.
That makes me sad for you.
Alot of talk as usual by the same jealous people.
0:27 *that dude was in Seagal's 2nd movie.... "we saw the film, we know you were set up!"*
Good eye. I never noticed that.
Guess he wanted more than Stone Tablets from God this time as proof. The video, audio, and arrest warrent was not good enough.
When Seagal's Batman Michael Keaton eyebrows shapes up, you:re in for a rude awakening.

Awesome scene.
why does everybody hate seagal?
his movies are good and he was once liked by everybody. i dont understand what changed??

Tyrone part tho 🤣
I met Tyrone he was very gentle

Steven Seagal is the BADDEST dude EVER! He knocked those guards down like a bowlin' ball knockin' down a set of bowlin' pins... STRIKE!!!!! LOL!
