1)Search device manager
2)Open it
3)Click audio input and output
4)Choose your microphone
5)Right click on your microphone
6)Go to properties
7)Go to driver
8)Uninstall device
9)On the top left corner you will see action menu
10)Tap on action menu
11)Tap scan for hardware changes
12)Close the window
13)Restart your device

Incredible. My sound had no issues for the mic and then stopped workiing. This corrected it. I am primarily a wondows guy but this is why Mac people dont have to deal with all these tweaks to fix something simple as this.
Also crazy that with windows no matter what after all these years we still revert to a command prompt.

Mic in and test if audio is getting recorded. Then change it to headphones and see if mic and audio out both are working

Video seems Gr8 and all the positive comments. I will have to try to see if it will fix my issue ..which is when I am on a Zoom conference is is fine for a little while. Then it breaks up people cannot hear me of if they do the sound is terrible if " I am under water." So very annoying I have windows 11.
