Glad to finally see a detailed review of the S variant. Almost all reviews I have seen are for the V Turbo. They seem to forget that there is a market for people who don't necessarily need a faster car but are looking for practicality and affordability (don't want to use the word "cheap") with premium safety features. Good Job Honda! Good Job SoJooCars! :-)
Awesome video! I've been hessitant with the S as I've only been able to see the V variant in person, so I really appreciate your detailed video! Hoping to get mine some time this month. The additional 300k for the V variant just didn't seem practical. While power is nice to have, it just isn't a priority for me (and I'd like to think for a lot of other people too). Keep up the good work!
You can truly feel the connection with this generation even this S variant. V really has a punchier engine with more leather. You can't go wrong with both variants. Kinda depends on your budget and needs.
@@SoJooCars At the price range of the V Turbo, I'd rather consider the Corolla Cross Hybrid. But you're right, at the end of the day, it depends on budget and needs.
Great review. You even try to promote other channels not only yours by telling us about all the hardwork you guys do behind the scene. From another content creator, respect to you man. [Pressing the subscribe button now.]
Hello. Honda just launched HRV in Pakistan, but it doesn't have the paddle shifters and Honda sensing package in it. I want to know if it is possible whether I can install the Honda sensing package in my HRV?
Hi joo thank you for the detailed review. Just wanted to get your opinion on this, between the 2022 honda hrv s variant and 2022 kia seltos ex, which is more value for money? Thanks again.
Been driving the HRV 1.5L version here in Australia for 8 months now and also owned a 1.5L Honda City, the same engine with Jazz/Fit. There’s a significant decrease in acceleration & increase engine noise. The Jazz & City drives breezy but the HRV screams ‘vrooooom am a tiny engine fitted in a bigger body!’😂 You expect this generation will have an improved cabin noise? Nope, still with poor sound insulation & even the speakers lack sound quality. The steering wheel is hideous, non-leather, polyurethane material that feels cheap to touch. I say this because it’s always hands on the wheel when you drive. Here, the base model includes the safety feature driver assist technology but excluded the blind spot monitoring system & fog lights that should come standard these days. Also the rear AC vents is absent here. It‘s essential for backseat passengers during frequent heatwaves & cold snaps! There’s also no spare tyre so good luck calling a rescue vehicle away from the city! Buyer’s remorse? As I owned a Honda City for a decade without major issues, the HRV is a reliable daily driver. But owning it long-term & loving it? No. The overall cabin comfort & driving experience is uninspiring. Speaker is inferior for a good music or podcast during traffic jams & long drive. You want to drive relaxed, swift & smooth but the engine is noisy & sluggish. I bought this model because I was desperate to get a car post-pandemic & it’s readily available compared to other vehicles with a wait time of more than a year. Second hand cars got expensive due to supply & demand. Verdict: avoid this base model if you want a fun to drive car. If the budget permits, get the hybrid or turbo variant. Just my opinion and personal experience. Those who own this model or planning to get one, please don’t be offended. You’re entitled to your own preference.🙂
Any info guys when this variant will arrive? it seems that there's a long list of waiting buyers eager to buy this car. And Im one of those. Agents if you have stocks you can contact me, I will buy it definitely. Thanks
Great review! Btw can you mention the fuel economy of this car since it has the same engine as city. And please make a comparison of Hr-v and Creta! Will wait! Tia
Nice review, Joo. I like your videos. They all go deep ito the car’s specs. Even beyond the brochure. BTW, I bought a Fortuner after watching your 2022 LTD review like 20 times.
Honda PH has been promoting and whetting our appetite for months now and I'm still waiting for a unit to be delivered. Honda PH should at least give us a specific date as to when units will arrive. Bad customer service for an admirable car company.
Jon Vera, sorry to hear that. Honestly, all brands are in the same situation now. The Chip issue is real and it is hurting many buyers like you. Hope you get your unit soon!
If the V had the honda sensing and the S did not have, then the 300 difference would be worth it. But as you have seen,,, the S is as nice as the V except for the Turbo
Thanks SoJoo for the review. I've been waiting for someone to review this particular variant. Great review btw. 👍 For the price I really think It's a win and take note you're buying a Honda.
I think the Honda civic is a better choice given it has full independent suspenion all around. The HRV is not SUV enought to warrant it over a regular sedan.

@@SoJooCars But you are still doing great. More power to your channel bro.
now that the price has increased by 100k, would you still choose this over city rs?
Grabe laki ng improvement ng itsura ng hrv ngayon di gaya ng dati

Thanks sa shoutout! Im only watching this now 😅😅😅
We love you ❤
agree, the non turbo version is the better choice
how long does it take from 0 to 100km? Is 1.5 N.A engine enough for driving?
Thanks!

Have you driven the old hrv 1.8l?how does the 1.5l new one compare to the old 1.8l? Is the power difference a lot?
Thankyou for another AMAZING car review,SOJOOCARS!!!
Likewise! See you in the next video
Are there HRV S users here? What’s your fuel consumption? Would appreciate any inputs. Thank you.
Does it have a walk away(automatic) door lock?
Hi SoJoo, 2022 Toyota Corolla Cross G and Honda HRV S comparison please. Thanks!
I need this.
May I know where do you filming this? Surrounding looks fantastic.
Sir is the headlamp and fog lamp bright at night drive?
very detailed review. do you happen to remember how many airbags are on this model?
How many people can fit comfortably at the back?

Thank you for sharing your thoughts! I am just sold with the Honda Sensing Technology honestly. I wonder if it will also come to Honda City. Thanks!
with the price difference vs the new city rs, do you think the top spec city rs is better buy?
Really detailed review. Thank you very much!
awesome review! makes me want to buy hr-v but the rs variant. thank you sojoocars! 🎉
Convinced. I am buying this
Good review sir. If i may request please review the hyundai tucson driving experience.
Top of the line honda brv vx or honda hrv s?
You can't go wrong with any as long as they have Honda Sensing
Same dilemma. It’s just a ₱1000 difference. 😅
its this variant pwerful enough?
For me, considering the price and its Honda Sensing, Yes for me
Very detailed review, Joo!! ⭐️⭐️⭐️
Yes Sur! only 60% compared with my usual style hehe
Another awesome review from Joo hyung!
The lowest spec has a sports mode? Is that correct?
Hi. Can you review the Maxus T60 Pro 4x2 MT

Joo, if you were to choose between s variants of hrv and civic, what would you choose? 😅 thanks.
Hrv 😁

Man, nice content.. Since you mentioned about USB charging port.. Is it OK to charge our phone from car? It won't damage the phone battery?
It could damage if you use fake cables.

I fully agree. I own city rs and it is true great cars but bad dealerships
the front grille is the lowest trim grille. should have just release the middle trim as the grille is better. or the RS trim grille even better.
Is it hard to find ba ng third party leather for the seats ng HR-V?

How does the drive compare to City?
this feels heavier
Hoping they will add manual transmissions on the variants.
Hmmm, still prefer the V variant 🤔👍
Hello SoJoo, in your opinion which color is best for S Variant?thank you!

at least sabay sabay with the safety features also

No CVT for me, my wife's Toyota CHR CVT went out at 67K miles, $10,500 to replace... No thanks, not again
toyota's cvt is diff. than honda's cvt, honda makes their own
Not a good choice of car at that price range...thank you and more power to your channel sojoo.
Thank you
4 cyclinders is way better than 3 cyclinders.
My foreman advice...non turbo, non turbo, non turbo...m
