I would like to point out that the love interest's name, Truly Scrumptious, is actually intentional wordplay. If you took away the "l" in Truly and replace it with a "d", you get Trudy. So in a sense, the love interest's name is actually Trudy Scrumptious. She was called Truly because of how both the children misheard when the maiden introduced herself to them and their father.

Crazy that they made this entire movie just based off of that one scene in "Ace Ventura: When Nature Calls" when he's singing about his safari car. So glad a studio decided to make this!
I never really liked this movie, but I came here today to honor Richard Sherman. I’m so sad we lost him today, but his legacy of songs will never leave us.
A Lot of people would say it would be sacrilege to remake or make a sequel to this Movie including Juliaflo above me. But Imagine if they did make a remake or sequel to this movie, it could focus on Jeremy Potts being old or something like that. Mary Poppins Returns was good but I saw a commenter here say "under no circumstances do I want a remake or sequel".

I never really liked this movie, but I came here today to honor Richard Sherman. I’m so sad we lost him today, but his legacy of songs will never leave us.
A Lot of people would say it would be sacrilege to remake or make a sequel to this Movie including Juliaflo above me. But Imagine if they did make a remake or sequel to this movie, it could focus on Jeremy Potts being old or something like that. Mary Poppins Returns was good but I saw a commenter here say "under no circumstances do I want a remake or sequel".
