Great Video. I really love the 2 sided handle. Both the modern and the oldscool look fit the knife really well in my opinion. A great idea to use both on the knife.

thank you , I really like the idea of asymmetric designs . I am thinking of a knife with two completely different faces - blade grind , handle material , even shape :)

Ok, you prefaced the project with "let's make something silly". I was going to say, while I just adore krambits, I think you got a little aggressive with the curve there.

indeed this one is too much over the top :) I plan to make one in future that will be as close to traditional as possible :)

You’re very entertaining and educational. I like your contents. It’s a deadly weapon and should be used with instructions. Can you make an instruction video on How To Fold The Karambit?❤

@@RustLegion Hey bro, I've been watching your work for a long time now and you do some great work, both metal & leather, but I have a friend who was on Forged In Fire, he came in second by a hair, but he's making me a Karambit, a little different style than this one ,but I'm wondering if you would be interested in making some good money to make me a sheath for it, im more than happy to pay you up front for it, we would just have to work out about how long it would take you to make it a sheath, I really liked the dragon skin sheath without the eye lid, or if you have any other ideas, im actually have been working with reptiles my entire life, & have a license to own, order, ship, sell, breed, & much more, with venomous, endangered, rare, exotic reptiles, mostly snakes, but being a Herpatologist I work with venomous reptiles from all over the world, & making Antivenom so Saving lives from people who got bite by most species of Venom, but there are a few types of snakes that don't have Antivenom so there are different types of things for those types of situations, anyway long story short I have snake skin for some huge snakes, about 50+pounds, and just over 11.5ft long, & 8+ extremely rare snakes anywere from 1.5ft long & a 1-2 pounds, & I have 2 endangered species that are about 5-7ft long & maybe 7-8 pounds, but I'm not sure if you would be able to legally work with the endangered species, so it wouldnt be those, but I have plenty of options with beautiful patterns & colors, snake skin is actually much much stronger than leather, & its less than half the thickness or more! But have you ever tried to work with snake skin before? If you have or have not, im willing to send you some for free, it would make some beautiful handles & sheaths for blades & other projects of yours:) & It would definitely make some great videos too!!! But I'd be happy with the regular sheaths you make from wood & leather, unless yoir familiar with snake skin, that would be great to!!!But I just loved that dragon skin sheath you made, & I'd willing to pay you up front, send you some snake skin, & the Karambit if you need it or I can also make a copy with wood or something, but if you want to make some money, & get some different snakes skin as a gift to help me with a sheath, preferably similar to the dragon skin, or like I said snake skin would be great, but I haven't seen you make a video with snake skin before, so its up to you brother, but definitely let me know, ot would definitely make a great video, & enough snake skin to practice with, & enough of it to make multiple different sheaths, or multiple different projects, for free, & u could also send you even more snake skin as well if your interested, it's extremely durable 1 snake skin wallet or belt with easily last 100years no problem the only thing that could go wrong is the string used to sow it together, but the snake skin can be as thin as paper, or as thick as maybe 2/3rds of leather depending on the type of snake it's from, and I can send different types, it can be soft like a pillow case, or harder than plastic from a pop bottle, just depending on how you tan the skin after you skin it from the snake, & I have a few different types of very soft or very hard, but its crazy strong you will go through at least 2 leather wallets before 1 snake skin wallet even starts to wear down, it's very similar to finger nails actually that is basically what it is, but depending on the size & type of snake you have multiple options for what you want to make with it, & I'd pay well for a nice heavy duty beautiful sheath, & im willing to send you the brand new Damascus Karambit he's making me, I'm paying alot for it, but it would definitely be easier for you to make a better sheath with the actual blade vs a copy of wood im assuming? So just let me know & if this sounds like a good deal to you I'd definitely like to chat about it, I can send you my number or whatever works best, so just let me know I'm definitely interested in your work vs some other stuff I've seen online, yours is definitely high quality work, & it would definitely pay off well for both of us, and as much as I would love to have a sheath with 1 of my endangered species of snake skin, I just don't know if you would legally be able to work with it, so I have some other beautiful snakes that are in my deep freeze that haven't been skinned yet, & some that are basically sheets the shape of the snakes just cut down the middle of the belly or from 1 side of the belly because the belly is the least detailed of the entire snake skin it's usually the body without the belly is what people want the most, but I don't waste anything, I saved the carcasses for flesh eating beatles and then get the bones bleached and put together in different positions instead of a glass container or tank it looks really cool having the skeleton of different snakes and reptiles that are in aggressive striking positions with their mouths opened up and fangs sticking out, it takes a lot of work to put all of the ribs together though because they literally have thousands of tiny bones & most are the ribs which to actually get them in order is extremely difficult it's like putting together an all white 3D puzzle without the picture, & the different between the ribs can be less than a hair every few sets, so even once it looks finished that's when you might notice that some vertebrae or ribs are out of place, but anyway sorry for such a long ass message, but I think this could turn out being some incredible artwork, & possibly some new types of sheaths that you might like more than leather for your most special products, especially because it can be softer & all the way to stronger than leather can be, and I have plenty of different options, & since I work with rare, exotic reptiles all the time, I could actually send you snake & different reptile skins pretty often, I have a stockpile of it right now, & out of hundreds of different snakes, there's usually 1-2 deaths every few months or multiple times a year from old age, which means 1 snake that is even just 10+feet long & usually 1-2 feet wide you could make tons of projects from just 1 snake!!! & the necks of the snakes are always thinner and much softer because it stretches the most after it's jaws, & it's belly is the thickest part of them which is much thicker & more heavy-duty skin also, so you can make at least 3 different types of snake skin from thin & sift but very strong, the middle being huge & fir some snakes it's as thick as leather and it can become stronger than your biggest toe nails, or as soft as velvet depending on how it's tanned, & then the middle which is in-between both so you can make completely different things from just 1 snake as well like as strong as a belt, or thin enough to wrap a book, or you name it I have at least a few options, and they aren't all just snakes, I have lizards, dragons, & monitors that are bigger than most dogs, with one of the strongest skins I've ever used sometimes 1/2inch thick or even more but they usually have a very tough skin that can actually cut you from how the scales are positioned on their bodies used like armor, or like velvet, & it's a deep freeze full of different types of reptiles, & I can only imagine all the different options that you would have & the great videos it would make, so definitely hit me up im sure you would at least like to try it out with just some more common snakes that aren't tens of thousands of dollars per snake, I have some that are only a couple hundred bucks per snake, & some that literally don't have any prices for because being critically endangered species can be over hundreds of thousands of dollars & only grow in price, alive or dead because there's only 3 people in Minnesota with the same license as me, so it can be worth crazy prices for some parts of different reptiles, like the head, tail, skin, bones, or the entire carcasses, but not many people even know what I have besides the states & paperwork on most of the reptiles, & some are my personal reptiles and others are from the buildings that house all the reptiles used to make Antivenom & feeding them, & basically everything else like breeding & more, anyway hit me up brother, I'd like to chat about this:)

@@gipper222zk7 Hello man , glad you like my work and thank you for watching and enjoying my videos. I never worked with snake skin or something similar. I saw a friend of mine put pieces of snake skin on the face of sheaths by overlapping them with regular leather border. Honestly it takes a lot of skill and practice that I don't have for this type of medium. And also - I only make sheaths for my own knives because I live in Eastern Europe and to send me something from USA is slow and expensive , I have to deal with customs , duty fees and stuff like that. They hold packages and I don't want to risk it with something expensive. My advice for people who ask me only for a sheath is just to look for good leatherworker close to their location. This way it is easy to send or just bring them the knife in person :) Sorry for not taking your order and good luck with finding someone around you. I am sure there are plenty talented folks around you :)
