Such a charming and funny interview! John and Linda in my opinion are a “Hollywood” success story. No awful things went on. They truly loved one another and were both on one of the most successful shows ever! I also admire Donny and Marie and how close they are as brother and sister. Despite their ups and downs they both love one another so much. I have an older sister and we are the totally opposite and it breaks my heart. I’m always so happy for people that have have love, health, and happiness:)

As for dating this episode, my guess would be that it is from 2000, since they talk about the "Charlie's Angels" movie, which premiered in October 2000.

She was definitely an important asset, but honestly…the steadfast connection and love between Blake and Krystle was a huge draw. John Forsythe said the writers wanted him to have affairs, and he put his foot down, hard no. It was so romantic and appealing. 🥰

Joan is a chronic liar who slandered a man who was dead and not able to defend himself. Joan is the only person who worked with him who ever said a bad word about him. Emma Samms said on Twitter that she never saw any misogynistic behavior from him on “Dynasty”. Joan was upset that John was making more money than her, as was every other male star over their female counterparts back then. I’m not saying that’s right, but it was a different era then and certainly doesn’t make him a “misogynistic prick” as she falsely accused him of being. She is the epitome of hypocrisy for disparaging John for asking for the same contract perks that she demands today.
