Holy crap that's awesome that you guys were able to get one so quickly! I have zero reason to get rid of my FZ07, but I'm glad they made some great changes to the platform.
Honestly…every Japanese bike (minus high end supersports) needs the same upgrade. Suspension. I just can’t imagine how, after over 100 years of making bikes, they haven’t figured out how to put proper damping in a fork and shock and set proper spring rates despite having manufactured hundreds and millions of them.
Can TBW be made to react like a cable system? Like can it open NOW like a cable? My experience with TBW is all cars and they've almost all SUCKED! Super slow to react to input changes. My bike is cable and I'm looking to stay that way for the throttle reaction time.
I wonder if manufacturers are looking at the potential for higher ethanol content in the future. From pure gas to E20, the stoichiometric AFR drops from 14.7 to 13.27, which is not an insignificant amount.
Makes you wonder what the euro 5 test is actually testing and to what rpm's do they stop. Euro 6 will be the end of 4 cylinder motorcycles for 1 reason the fuel caught between the ring and the piston on the two extra cylinders that does not burn will be too much and will not pass using gasoline. Euro 7 = electric.
Sounds good so far! Not realistic to expect much if any tuning advantages over the previous versions but good to know chassis improvements were immediately noticeable. Obviously we'll have to wait (hopefully not too long) for the functionality of the QShifter to be evaluated but I'm also curious how much if any the braking has been improved? While hard to fault my current GSX 8S sacrificing a few HP for the 40+ pound weight savings likely would better suite my 5'8"/160lb frame.
If the biggest thing that upset you is the options, then match this my Honda NX500 have problably a bent frame from factory it wont ride straight if you take you hand off.
@LSB44446 you bet I check everything else thats possible to check without disassembly, Honda in my country have a hidden reputation of making f up quality bikes but most people still think they are great.
Im.currently in the process of returning my honda cb650r to honda due to wather getting into the i.dicator woring loom which they cant seem to sort and have been thinking about getting the 2025 mt07. Honda may offer me a new 2024 cb650r but i have asked for my money back . Do u think the new mt07 2025 is a better bike overall. Your thought for and against would be greatly appreciated
Friend, how did you get it, they're not for sale yet, right? I also have a question, are the exhaust systems interchangeable with the old 2023 generation? Will I be able to keep my old Akrapovic and put it in 2025? Thanks for the video! Greetings from Moscow
I'm guessing Yamaha has all the CP2 products on the update schedule. T7, R7, MT-07, XSR700, Tracer 700. But just like the CP3 products, they didn't all get the same features at the same time.
We have been doing TONS of work on the CP3 platform that we simply can't share yet. Don't worry, we are HEAVILY invested in the success of the MT09 and R9 😉
They had to send the mt09 back. Yamaha recalled all of them and are giving up on the cp3. Or, just maybe, other bikes exist and 2wdw can't have an mt09 permanently strapped to the dyno.
In my opinion, if a manufacturer is going to convert to throttle by wire, the bare minimum options for such systems should be cruise control and quick-shift up/down. I don't even care about power modes or TC. Cruise and and QS shouldn't even be considered options, amenities, or luxuries. Every car, truck, SUV on the planet has cruise. Somehow bikes aren't allowed this "luxury"? Don't get me wrong, I'd buy a motorcycle without it, but as technology proceeds, the goofy way that manufacturers are adding these things piece by piece makes zero sense. TBW is emissions control. Otherwise we'd all be still running cables. I get that.
450 mx bike is built to race. Mt07 is built to ride around town forever. Look at the crf450rl first valve adjustment is at 1,700 miles that bike isn’t going to last 50,000 miles on a stock piston let alone 100,000. I’ll take an extra 130 pounds for an extra 100,000 miles I got out of dirtbikes because of the motor work involved you shouldn’t have to drop a top end in every 50-100 hours on your bike
@@CyanStorm007Yeah this dude is literally just proving he doesn’t understand how engines work and thinks higher CC’s should always equal more power, yet ignore bore, stroke, compression, cams, ect. lol Also that some engines are literally built to a price, so cheaper materials, weaker internals, lower revs.

Its a I.A. video. Look at the voice😂
At least they didn't try and make the quickshifter an orange flavored subscription model
Waiting for the tune comparison.. I'm excited to see how many horses this thing has!
not bad power characterisitc linear with relatively strong midrange at set gear .

2WDW is the shit for an MT07, they did mine and its awesome
I can’t wait for parts to be available for it. I gonna see if i can get the forks and front brake to work on a 2024
Cool? Can't wait. Tanks Bro. Keep it Sunnyside.
on top of it! I can't wait.

Waiting on mine to come in! I have a deposit on one waiting for the dealership to call me
me too. when do you think? I was told March ( in texas)
@ I’m here in Texas as well and wast told some time in the first quarter but they weren’t sure yet
@@omararrrguin2260 nice i cannot wait any longer lol this will be my first bike

That ECU is ginormous...
Please tell me also, because of the new inverted fork, has the steering turn become less, or has it remained the same?

Take a look at the GSX8S. I have one and really enjoy it over my MT-07
on my 2015 mt 07 if i remove the snorkel it loses power dowwn low ok thats withou tuning
How Aprilia with same cc do 87hp wheel power? Isn't possible for this cp2?
The Mt07 won't break down

Do you know your height/inseam?
Is the R7 getting the same update? Curious to see what you get out of it
It is not. Same R7 as last year.

do you know if the 25' headlight can fit on the 24'?
Doubt it because it connects directly to the new tft display
Just out of curiosity, do you guys have any plans on messing with the Triumph Trident 660?
Hope that new swingarm isn't a rusty bastard like the old one lol
Well that was fast, i guess no more playing with the mt09….
2wdw has tons of work, tons of bikes, and they don't work on just one product for a whole year before grabbing another and starting on things.

Sorry yamaha but the updated tank looks awful. I have no idea what they were thinking there.
Government regs are killing these engines. This thing stock makes what a well tuned 450 dirt bike makes. Pathetic.
