Is a cheap strimmer worth it? £145 - 7 years on!

- Ive had this 42cc True shopping 5 in 1 multi tool for seven years now.
For £145 i wasn’t expecting much but after 7 years all i have replaced was the spark plug. Something id likely have done on any more expensive machine too!
I don’t look after it all. But it just keeps on going.
Thinking of getting one? Do it!

Got one as well. Brill machine. A spare engine cost 'round 50 Pounds. In case you need one.....in 2037....

how good is at cutting brambles and woody shrub's with the steel blades and can you get new blades.
Decent. It will fit any brush cutter blade

This one is branded trueshopping. No idea if the company is still going. There a loads being made under different brands. They are all the same
Would you buy one again?
If anything every went majorly wrong with this one then yeah I definitely would buy another over the leading brands

Great value machine as I have the 52cc model with all the attachments for less than €200 and I have it 4 years now and got plenty of use and never missed a beat.
