They really gave GT more love than the original Dragon Ball in Sparking Zero. I actually love Baby. He's my favourite GT Villain next to Omega Shenron.
I agree about your statement about volleys. In the Battle of Gods movie, Beerus uses a volley when they are fighting in that underground cavern. It feels super fast and each shot looks impactful. I honestly can't think of a single dbz game where the volley feels as good as some of the cooler ones look. Hell, even the latest episode of Daima had an amazing looking volley
I wish they had the green light effect over Super Baby 2 changing into the Golden Great Ape form. Thought that was a cool detail in he had in Fighterz.
I am glad they got all the colors of Baby's auras and attacks correctly. Final Flash in first form is yellow and so is the aura. The in the other forms its pink. Super Galick Gun is blue instead of purple just like in the show. Super Baby 1 has finally a move from the show. Only with Baby Vegeta had the air pressure move over the blue ki volley. And yes, Baby said mistook the name of Final Flash and Big Bang Attack. Maybe on purpose to mock Vegeta's moves.
The only problems that i have with this character are: 1-Baby's First form lost his unique and lore acurrate grab from the anime that he had in BT3 (the one when he launches a lot of ki/air waves at the enemy's face) 2-Baby does not have lore acurrate animations when he transform like cell, super buu and Z frezzer for example, he only got generic animations. Everything else is great, he says big bang attack instead of final flash in his base / 1st form like the anime, his second form has the ONLY attack that he did in that form in the anime as a rush, his third form got an unblockable attack (baby tried to do a pink kienzan but was interrupted by uub) and the monkey form has the blue (correct color from the anime) galick gun instead of the purple one from DBZ BT3.
So far, here's what I'm noticing from Sparking Zero. There's many steps forward in terms of general movesets and just the overall visuals but when it comes to attacks? They're just kinda lacking in presentation. The supers are nice but without a huge explosion sound to really signify impact, they come off kinda limp and are paced weirdly in some instances such as Finger Blitz Barrage. In BT3, that comes out like a machine gun with how fast it fires. SZ, it's weirdly spaced out and slow. The rushes can sometimes have fun angles and proper delays but I feel like the people working on them don't quite know how to use impact frames and such to make moves look cool and not distracting and Ultimates? They're really lacking in what makes an Ultimate FEEL impactful and what doesn't help is the pains they're taking to not show violence like impalement or slicing. They do have references though and I feel in this instance the references are underwhelming when the attacks don't have that impact. And it's a shame because there's a lot that could really be done with a next-gen Tenkaichi.
In certain parts it shocks me how much attention to detail they put into which makes some of the obvious weird decisions odd like Frieza Z's auras being wrong, GT SSJ Goku's moves being so generic instead of making references to the show, Baby Vegeta lacking his air pressure attacks, Gogeta GT not having the party kamehameha or his Big Bang Kamehameha looking like a generic beam instead of a wave... but they got the Super Galick Gun correct, they gave 1 attack Super Baby 1 did in the show and gave him a Final Flash that looks like how he once executed it in GT in his Super Baby 2 form and they got the auras for all Baby forms correct. Still I don't feel like buying this game. I am not as excited as back when BT1 to BT3 came out.
@@M3rtyville Or just the moves. Some have impact and proper weight but then you get instances where the explosion is missing, awkward camera angles or as I noted, impact frames being thrown in instead of being carefully considered.
yeah people defend the inconsistencies with "this is a reference to x, y, z" which is fine if you like that sort of thing I guess but this being a new DB game I prefer modern consistency over old references 🤷🏼♀️ miscolored attacks look really wrong to me
Really it wouldn't be bad if the presentation was still there. A miscolored Galick Gun is fun when you know "Oh, it's like that in the anime." but when the attack itself is kinda limp, you don't really care and even then, it could just be weird. Even knowing the reference, a blue Galick Gun is just bizarre.
I think at this point he is because with all due respect considering what has been shown? Sparking Zero's kind of lacking in presentation. It looks pretty certainly with great animation and nice fluid combat but the flash of the old is kind of not there in a lot of instances.
Day 20 of telling you your voice can barely be heard due to the loud music. Please sort it out Also, Super Vegeta’s final flash is way better, one of the best ever. That wide yellow beam with the electricity flowing around it cannot be topped, especially not by a pink version of the same move
I'd honestly disagree. The Final Flash by Super Vegeta here just uses the generic animation for beam ultimates and really doesn't convey the power of the Final Flash. Here we get the beam expanding and we see a unique shot for when it swallows the opponent.
Finger Blitz Barrage is actually the worst Volley attack in the game. Yeah, that bad. It does not matter how many shots it can fire, it does zero damage and since you can mash Vanish even on hit, it basically does nothing outside of just preventing a groundslammed opponent from recovering. It's so sad how Volley attacks are useless, it's show accurate but why? Revenge Cutter pushes Baby 2 into being a decent character, since he has both Explosive Wave and Full Power, he can do a lot of damage if you let him be. But then his Giant form has a horrendous Gigantic Flame, move takes years to come out. It can be a decent keep away tool if you are playing on a small map like World Tournament or Cell Games, tho. Actually, why isn't his Super Ball of Revenge thingamajig unblockable? That thing is HUGE. I kind of vaguely remember SSJ4 Goku holding that thing for dear life and still got hit by it. And it's worse now because he doesn't say BOOYAH like the maniac that he is. Baby is ok, he is actually a good character, just small things keep him from being great.
No Booyah on the last RDB. Man, it's hilarious tha SB1 used to be the worst of Baby's forms back in BT2 and 3, hilarious that now it is the only one that stands out 😂

I wish they had the green light effect over Super Baby 2 changing into the Golden Great Ape form.
Thought that was a cool detail in he had in Fighterz.
Babe wake up another omega video is out!!
The Baby Vegeta grab was one of the bests in the bt3 and they change it for a generic one, its a shame.
3:13 I know it's not just his character that does it, but I really love the electricity rising up and bursting into aura for the full power ability
That awkward moment when you realise Sparking! Zero's Villains have better movesets and transformations than the Heroes:
I am glad they got all the colors of Baby's auras and attacks correctly. Final Flash in first form is yellow and so is the aura. The in the other forms its pink. Super Galick Gun is blue instead of purple just like in the show.
Super Baby 1 has finally a move from the show.
Only with Baby Vegeta had the air pressure move over the blue ki volley. And yes, Baby said mistook the name of Final Flash and Big Bang Attack. Maybe on purpose to mock Vegeta's moves.
The only problems that i have with this character are:
1-Baby's First form lost his unique and lore acurrate grab from the anime that he had in BT3 (the one when he launches a lot of ki/air waves at the enemy's face)
2-Baby does not have lore acurrate animations when he transform like cell, super buu and Z frezzer for example, he only got generic animations.
In GT, Galick Guns are blue for some reason.
it was the super Galick Gun which is a more powerful version of the move.
Character development: 0:48 3:17
I wish he had that one move where he drove Vegeta’s face into the ground
Honestly if they ever had a GT Gohan they should give that to him since he was using his body
Missing the booyah subtracts at least two whole points from the rating.
Base form baby not having his ki wave grab really saddens me
2:50 i have been wondering that myself
Baby: WHAT DO YOU THINK OF MY POWER NOW?!
Me: I think it's Vegeta's power.
Imagine the possibilities if there weren’t only 2 super attacks. I sound like a broken record.
yeah people defend the inconsistencies with "this is a reference to x, y, z" which is fine if you like that sort of thing I guess but this being a new DB game I prefer modern consistency over old references 🤷🏼♀️ miscolored attacks look really wrong to me
Really it wouldn't be bad if the presentation was still there. A miscolored Galick Gun is fun when you know "Oh, it's like that in the anime." but when the attack itself is kinda limp, you don't really care and even then, it could just be weird. Even knowing the reference, a blue Galick Gun is just bizarre.
Anytime when the zoom in on his face it looks like he has lazy eyes in his base form
1:20 He “turns into a sun” because thats what he does in the anime
0:12 Wait a second, where did the invisible ki wave spam go? The one he beat Goku's ass with?
They got rid of his Machine Gun Rush/Kiai?! Nooooooooo!!
The Destructo Disc is out of nowhere. I don't remember him doing it in the show.
In his fight with Uub he started charging what looked to be an energy disk but Uub interrupted him with his energy wave
You sound kinda jaded in this one
I think at this point he is because with all due respect considering what has been shown? Sparking Zero's kind of lacking in presentation. It looks pretty certainly with great animation and nice fluid combat but the flash of the old is kind of not there in a lot of instances.
5:10 worng? Maybe. Anime accurate? Yup. And the doesn't say BOOYAH anymore after the Revenge Death Ball
Day 20 of telling you your voice can barely be heard due to the loud music. Please sort it out
Also, Super Vegeta’s final flash is way better, one of the best ever. That wide yellow beam with the electricity flowing around it cannot be topped, especially not by a pink version of the same move
"your voice can barely be heard due to the loud music. Please sort it out"
THIS
I'd honestly disagree. The Final Flash by Super Vegeta here just uses the generic animation for beam ultimates and really doesn't convey the power of the Final Flash. Here we get the beam expanding and we see a unique shot for when it swallows the opponent.
Name of the song that starts in the beginning?
I miss the force push grab he had in bt3
I though Baby's mouth doesn't move in great ape form when he talks?
The goat
5:09 his galick gun was blue in the anime…
Man, it's hilarious tha SB1 used to be the worst of Baby's forms back in BT2 and 3, hilarious that now it is the only one that stands out 😂
1:08
Didn't you say you knew why Baby Vegeta says the attack name wrong in your BT3 moveset video?
Did you forget?
He did and it's likely he's making a joke.
@the-aspiring-creator4249
It's petty easy to hide a joke behind a nutural tone.
He should've aklowedged that he knew the reason why after making his "joke".
@@MO-2018 Or you can just watch the original videos or even just listen to it. Either way, it's hardly a problem.
*LETS GO* 👉😁👈
C'mon Omega, stop teasing with these characters! Go to Gogeta (Super) already
No “BOOYAH!”?? 🤨🤨
Hi
I know giants don't tend to have rush moves but I wish Great Ape Baby had one
Mostly because of how in FighterZ, one of his ultimates is him in Ape form just thrashing you silly
Oh yeah that Ultimate’s genuinely one of the best Great Ape attacks in a DB game
This guy just complains, never satisfied lmao
Nothing wrong with complaining, "lmao".
@ I mean he’s never satisfied with any of the characters
@@dj-blue-j3214 He was satisfied with Goku, parts of Vegeta. You have to keep this in mind, he has played all the BT and RB games so he's not gonna mask his thoughts just because the game looks pretty. He's gonna cover it as a next-gen follow-up to BT3 and judge it off that.
1:20 He “turns into a sun” because thats what he does in the anime
