SO GLAD YOU DID NOT DO TIM BURTON STYLE! His style creeps me out so much. Plus, your character is a cute fairy so you're going to do cute art styles!
Haha the Tim Burton's style can be a bit on the spooky side. 😅 I'm glad you like the fairy drawings!
These all look insane, I grew up with the tinkerbell movies ☺☺☺
With or without wings this Fairy art is still Gorgeous!
Thank you!
You're thinking of a VHS. that's what you would have watched the old peter pan movie on.
Winx club is classic, your art is amazing and spot on
Yes VHS haha 😄
It sounds like you had a VCR (video cassette recorder) to watch VHS tapes (video home system). The Muppets are awesome! I'm not sure what got me into drawing. I just always drew pictures. I loved Mickey Mouse. Hello Kitty was also pretty easy for a kid to draw. When I was older, it was comic book characters like Batman. My choices haven't changed much since then 🥰
Ah VHS tapes!!! thanks for the clarity haha! Loved hearing about your journey from Mickey Mouse to Batman! Simple characters like Hello Kitty are perfect for kids.
i also didnt have cable growing up and watched a lot of shows on VHS or DvD, including a few of the Muppet movies, they're always fun :3
Its ok, as a kid I wished on a shooting star for a purple pegasus (I was obsessed wirh the one from Barbie and the Magic of Pegasus)... I waited a solid 4 years fully convinced I'd get one, one day. Sadly, I still havent gotten a purple pegasus.
YES! I love her new hair color!!!!!!!!!!! The WINX style came out amazing and I forgot about that show, I used to love it! And Totally Spies! LOL
Thanks so much for your comment! 😄 I'm thrilled you love the new hair color!
I can mostly see your art style it’s winx club and tinker bell which it very cute my art style inspired me from static shock toonami digimon yugioh and Pokemon I remember my old childhood friend in day care we thought we could be power rangers
Thank you so much! Your art style journey inspired by those cartoons and anime is so nostalgic! The dream of becoming Power Rangers with your daycare friend is just too adorable!
My inspiration truly and deeply came from boredom in school. I wasn’t academically challenged for a long time so it was just me and paper before phones were really a thing
That's fascinating! 😊 Sometimes the best creativity comes from unexpected places.
If you want to use your ipad as a lightbox you can enable guided access in the accessability settings, I think there's tutorials about it around youtube and stuff
Omg yes, why did I not think of that!!!
Thank you!
i also loved tinker bell and disney princesses and fairies when i was younger i would draw them all the time, and i definitely had crushes on a few of them but didnt realize it yet hehe,, and girl dont even worry about it i feel like every little girl wanted to be like a fairy or a mermaid at some point, its cute that you wished on stars for it, my parents would never have let me believe in that stuff l so i kind of envy your childhood innocence, thats a silly and sweet story u shouldnt be embarrassed of it
Ferngully the Last Rainforest is what got me obsessed with fairies back in '92. If you haven't seen it, check it out. And I used to wish to be a mermaid and a fairy when I was young lol. I would cry because my wish never would come true.
Oh, Ferngully is such a classic! It's amazing how movies from our childhood can leave a lasting impact. While our dreams of transforming into fairies might not have come true, the magic lives on in our memories haha.
I love all 3 drawings!
And definitely your character suits to be a fairy in winx club 😊 I love winx club a lot! Before knowing what anime is , and thinking that all I watched on TV was cartoons only 😂 I considered winx club to be my first anime show!
The light hair looks good on ur character 👍
What drove me to "drawing" at first was my fav childhood cartoon "the powerpuff girls" I used to draw them all the time as a kid ,then cartoon network + Disney cartoons in general but what really made dive more into doing artworks is a competition between me and a class mate of mine 😂😂 then it became a big hobby of mine , not to mention I love drawing and coloring in general!😊
Thank you for your hard work and have a wonderful day 💚
6:48 I used to memorize themesongs of cartoons I liked. And now I have the Sonic X themesong engraved in my brain.
I’d love to see you do a video on your OCs!
Thank you for the suggestion! I'll definitely consider doing a video on my original characters. Stay tuned for future content! 😊
Love the idea and colors 🤗❤️👍🏽💯
Thank you! 🤗
I love Winx Club and the Tinkerbell movies.
Aww I adore your character in winx club style 🥰 I haven't watched the show properly because back then I didn't understand English very much but I definitely went through that phase of tracing a pose and drawing as many outfits as I can 😂
Thank you so much for your kind words! I'm glad that you enjoy my character in the Winx Club style. 😊 It's reassuring to know I wasn't the only one tracing poses and having a blast creating all sorts of fun outfits!
Treasure island was freaken amazing when the Muppets did it. Love the earlier joke "how does she know?"
Haha Treasure Island was pure gold!
@LucidNeema under rate. I mean, has Tim curry in it. You know what another good movie, clue. If none has watch it. Please do
Love these so much. I feel like what keeps me inspired is definitely the art community. I love learning within the community because it sparks so much inspiration for me.
That's awesome! The art community is indeed a wellspring of inspiration. Learning and growing within it is such a rewarding journey.
I should draw cartoons too that made me into art. I havent made art in weeks. I should make fanart again from ATLA and Winx Club
It's awesome that cartoons sparked your love for art! If you're feeling the itch to create, diving back into fanart sounds like a fantastic idea.
i was always into art as far as i remember but i also remember being big into doing winx club art lol! i was absolutely Obsessed with the show but i guess i was a little emo for a 4th grader and was suuuuper obsessed with like, the dark bloom concept lol. id sleep over with my best friend at the time and we'd literally just obsess over winx club. i wish i still had my art from that time bc it's probably a bunch of super cringe emo fairy ocs LOL 😭😭 maybe ill find it someday!
Your 4th-grade emo fairy OCs sound like they were ahead of their time 😂. Sleepovers obsessing over Winx Club with your friend must've been so much fun, I'm jealous!
I didn't care for tinkerbell's personality either. The original tinkerbell out fit I liked but didn't care for the one in the live remake. I liked the second drawing where you redrew your character in the winks outfit and similar hair the most in this video.
I started drawing before I started kindergarten. I was at my Grandma's house and when she got busy she handed me the funnies in the newspaper. I saw the boy and the tiger kitty (telling it as I saw it then). The kitty seemed like the lines would be easy to to put together due to the pose. I knew someone somewhere drew them, so I got the pen Grandma used to do word puzzles and traces the outline but then drew in the details. After that I saw a drawing of an oil can and drew it from looking at it. Finally, I drew a car from my memory of how I saw someone draw one.
To me the car didn't come close but drawing animals and hand held objects seemed easier to me. I kept the drawings because my Grandma and Mom told me not many could draw beyond stick figures. I started practicing drawing from my imagination and drawing what I saw that looked like it had character, like my Mom coloring with me on my 10th birthday. I drew my present too because we didn't have a camera and I want to remember that day. 🤗❤️👍🏽💯
Thanks a bunch for sharing your thoughts and your drawing journey! It's fascinating how your artistic spark ignited from the newspaper and tiger kitty. Your early experiences with drawing from memory and imagination are truly heartwarming. 😊🎨
Drawing your 10th birthday present is such a sweet way to capture those special moments without a camera!
@@LucidNeema 😊🌸 Thank you, I love seeing and learning from other creative artists.
I started drawing because I got tired of asking other people to draw something for me; I commissioned someone to draw the cover for a short story I made and they never did it. Since then, I started watching tutorials and such.
What keeps me going is up and down really; I sometimes have burn out and just stare at the page. I'm really trying to put my energies into making comics; at least doing that I have a consistent reason to draw.
I miss drawing fanart sometimes...just to have something to draw without trying to come up with colors. However, I've been having trouble trying to figure out what to draw again
It's awesome that you started drawing out of necessity haha. Dealing with burnout can be tough, but it's great that making comics gives you a consistent motivation to create. I totally get the struggle of figuring out what to draw, but yeah, fanart could be a fun way to spark that creativity again!
@@LucidNeema 🙂
Omg, how old are you??? Because everything you said and talked about was from my childhood too!!! Like I loved the winx club, loved Disney movies (tinkerbell is adorable) and had a VCR that I played my movies NON STOP! 😂😂😂😂😂😂
Also ‘face card declines, but body - hell no!’ was so funny! 😂
And you color so well with markers!!
Oh and I LOVE muppets treasure Island!!! I still listen to the songs because it’s one of my fave movies!! 💕 had to show my husband! 😂
Haha the songs were FIREEEE omg not showing your husband 😂😂. I'm 25 years old!
My art was inspired and still is inspired by anime. I’ve even been writing my own stories for the past 5-6 years.
That's awesome that anime has been such a big inspiration for your art! Writing your own stories for the past 5-6 years is seriously impressive. Do your stories have a specific genre or theme that you enjoy exploring?
@@LucidNeema I have a couple different ones. I have a post apocalyptic one, a dystopian one and one that’s kind of a mix of the two. My main story is the mixed one and has its own history and magic system and different fantasy and alien species. They’re also generally set in future centuries.
Tinkerbell had her own movies just about her
Yes, I've seen them all! The solo adventures of Tinkerbell in her own movies added a whole new layer of magic to my childhood.
