- Hope you enjoy this video. Feel free to request the next at anytime. I’m down to upload almost any anime I can get my hands on. I also hope my editing was good. I did notice some flaws, but hopefully it’s just me.
The Goku Black arc felt like a true sequel to Z. Best arc in super by far
horrible take
“with the power of friendship” this type of scene is so overrated honestly unless it has a sentimental feeling to it. in Dragon Ball, there’s hardly anything sentimental abt it because the writer forgets abt a lot of the content he puts out to get published and deaths don’t matter anymore because you’re able to just wish people back or go to the past to see them again regardless. Dragon Ball is so predictable it’s not even funny and id only watch the movies that correspond with the show purely for their animation, the plot to this show is near non existent and honestly, it’s been EVEN WORSE since Z ended.

This scene is horrible, no other way explanation for Trunks defeating Merged Zamasu other than the power of friendship.
1: Trunk's Spirit Bomb logically should be weaker than even the Namek Spirit Bomb as Goku was literally pulling energy from other planets compared to Trunks pulling energy from a handful of survivors and a degraded Earth.
2: Merged Zamasu was literally fighting Vegito Blue and even he wasn't enough so how da fuk does Trunks (who was getting bodied by like literally everyone) have anywhere near the power to even dmg Merged Zamasu?
*In Conclusion:*
Trunks did the biggest asspull in the entire history of the series.
The moment he started laughing like that 3:39 I knew bro had a trick up his sleeve

I don't think that was Zamasu planning a new scheme, rather it was the last shred of his sanity vanishing as his entire worldview is proven false to him.
James Marsters absolutely redeemed himself for Evolution. He became Zamasu and it totally paid off!
Trunks with the ultimate potential reach in this arc. Dude unconsciously summons the Spirit Bomb, gathers enough energy in record time, focuses that energy into his sword and finally lays waste to Zamasu's physical form. And to top it all off he earns his father's pride in the process.
Practically an amen to that one, so to speak. Trunks is probably my favorite character of all personally, and this whole arc reinforced that even more. But, to each their own on favorites, of course.
Not only that he was able to fight Merged Zamasu in his SSJ form. That form rivals Vegito Blue and Trunks was able to stop his attacks and push him

People called Trunks transformation super sayian rage, but it should have been called super sayian convictions. He only reached this power when he stood behind his beliefs even when a god said they were wrong. Zamasu talk god this, god that. This god is nothing but a narcissist. All he care beauty and stuff. No one beautiful on the outside but in here. We humans all ever done is destroying and push them away. But the one thing we can do: Believe in yourself! Have faith in your abilities! Without a humble but reasonable confidence in your own powers you cannot be successful or happy.

Trunks was getting stronger from the zenkia boost.
Spirit bomb moment shows that trunks is the puriest mortal . His purity allowed him to gather the energy without focusing on it. The live form itself was helping trunks.
Let's not forget trunks was in ssj rage form which has malicious thoughts. Trunks being able to think straight and pure made him worthy and as a result every living thing gave him the energy to defeat zamasu.

@@jesusgraciano6215 Final Kamehameha never weakened zamasu he flew up after getting hit like it was nothing to him..wheneever he regenerates his energy recovers as well...and goku too is a pure mortal but we have never seen the SB coming out of nowhere like that for him..he always needs to create it by asking others...SSJ rage has a lot of maliciousness within it while using it trunks cannot be pure..goku himself needed to turn back to base to make a SB...And most importantly all that energy combines with goku and vegeta's remaining energy couldnt have made trunks so much stronger than zamasu

In my opinion, trunks is the MVP.
He is the best product came from Vegeta and Bulma. He got saiyan lineage from Vegeta and intelligence from Bulma. Dude learns things very fast. With a good training he can be the strongest saiyan ever. If whis trains him he would learn ultra instinct in no time. And most importantly once the fight starts, he literally aim to kill 🔥🔥🔥

I think that maybe in the manga if the spirit bomb was used while Zamasu and Goku Black were nearly split up with the fusion than maybe Zamasu and Goku Black could have been defeated. I know that Kid Buu and Fused Zamasu were similar in surviving horrible injuries that made Kid Buu almost seem immortal but was killed off with the spirit bomb into nothingness. I believe Zamasu wouldn’t survive the spirit bomb either way since his immortality didn’t save him from getting contained in the evil containment wave

While I love the fight between Trunks and Vegito and Corrupt Zamaru, the manga kinda makes a bit more sense for me. I mean the army of Zamasu Clones, SSB Mastered Goku vs Fused Zamasu and the fusion between Black and Zamas being only an hour instead. Also the funny bit were Zamasu takes Monaka’s body instead of Goku’s.
Zamasu may be indestructible thanks to the super dragon balls, but he's no god when he fused with goku black and he never was when he killed his own master gowasu.

In Z, he felt like a main character until Perfect Cell, where he faded into the background until getting killed, and then revived to return to his future to deal with his world’s androids. In his run in Super, he felt like a main character the whole time.
He had a more varied character arc in Z, yet he had a solid development in Super too.
In Z, after his initial stoic appearance, he then started following Vegeta’s shadow to impress him and receive the father-son relationship he never had; in Super, Trunks seems like his own man, matured beyond seeking parental approval.
I think he is great in both shows, just noting that isn’t clear cut.
