Two mins into pile 4. Going home to visit my family at the end of the month and I’ve been so landlocked here due to school and work and it’s been hurting my heart.
Pile #3 edit: I've always been monogamous, but I met someone that's polyamorous. He's also long distance and there is a significant age gap. I feel a strong connection and attraction to him. My biggest challenge is to accept it for what it is. He's going through some mental health issues and recently went through a messy divorce. We aren't in communication right now, and I'm thinking that probably it's over. However; I'm still hopeful that we will see eachother again. We really enjoy eachother 's company and everything isn't meant to be so serious. However; Consistent communication is important to me. This situation has triggered some childhood wounds. I'm currently in therapy... and trying to focus more on myself. If I look at the situation from a rational perspective, I think there are too many obstacles. I don't know what he's thinking/feeling about me. Maybe he doesn't want to revisit this. My rational mind says to let it go. My emotions say: I miss him.

The man you discribed sounds unstable to be in any form of relationship and would probably try to disturpt your life more then maintain its peace. You derserve better. Your rational mind advises you wisely. Your emotions show you what you need, but he doesn’t give it to you. You need to find fulfillment somewhere else. I was in a similar situation. Therapy helped me. I wished imwould have gone sooner to save me some time hurting.
