The new keyboard looks amazing ! Making friends in college is quite hard since ppl usually have friend groups outside of it. However, maybe with time you’ll find your own group. I’d say don’t stress about it, those who want to stay and form a bond will :) (also I can’t stop looking at your roommate’s twice posters LOL, they have great taste)

Honestly, college can be a hard place to find friends if you're not outgoing (I know this personally). But one great thing that helped me when I first started was looking for clubs on campus. Colleges offer a lot of clubs, but sadly, they're often hard to find or not well advertised. You've got this! 💪
Hey bro, just keep meeting new people and attending events that interest you, especially in the early days of college in that way, you will like-minded people to make friends with. and by the lighting in your room gives warm and cozy vibes.
Hey! I love the keyboard, it must sound (and feel) so soothing to type on it! I had the same issue in my first year of architecture school, and it was extreamely rough for me because I already barely dealt with living far from my family, it was exactly when I realized that I'm really a people's person despite being an introvert. So I kept in touch with my classmates and tried to integrate with them in club activities (it wasn't necessarily fun, it felt lonely most of the time), until I decided which pattern of friend group fits me better: I wanted to have a small community around me, I didn't like the idea of having a lot of poeple around but I still wanted to be open for school work and club activities with a wider portion of people: like a gradient circle. And eventually, I found my folks after three months of school, we were five friends, with a great chemistry together and with a good sense of community! we're three now, but the circle around us is still maintained! I'm pretty sure you'll find your folks too, with your own preferences, it might take time, and it's totally alright! Good luck!!!
yeah the keyboard is great :) thank you for sharing your story with me, i really appreciate it. i hope to find my people soon enough, but comments like this remind me its okay. have a great day!
I just started college too and honestly as an introvert I felt the same way. I am seeking friendships but I really do enjoy my alone time and for some reason that’s strange for a lot of people haha
hey, i’ve really enjoyed ur college vids lately. i’m applying now for mechanical engineering and have already received some acceptances, but i’m worried because i have a macbook air. i have seen a lot of people saying how bad macbooks are for engineering programs and i was wondering if you knew the best alternative laptops. (ones that aren’t crazy expensive 😭) great video tho!!
hey glad you’ve enjoyed them! i like thinkpads a lot and for mechanical, you could get something like a p1 workhorse laptop with a dedicated gpu. you can also get a gaming laptop if that fits better to what you’re looking for!
I got ThinkCaps extras, they are pretty fire. You could Kinga replicate it though with a dark blue modifier set from another style. 200$ plastic was so worth it.
Hardware stores like Lowe's sell technology toolkits that come with nonmetallic pry tools, and several other useful tools. Its worth investing in. They'll usually run you 30 dollars.
Im in my 10 week for me too. To be honest, I feel like im falling behind in studys, and im worried about that. But i feel like I've improved in social life aspects. Its tuff ngl
Fun video, need to get back tinkering with my old thinkpad t420 I want to get the keyboard from it to USB or maybe even to bluetoooth. One note on the yap at the end from someone who did 4 years of compsci and graduateed 3 years ago. Totally relate to wanting to keep a tight group when you first start but its always good to try and keep a larger and diverse friend group as well. I totally get the not relating to hobbies etc but it is also important to be able to socialise with people who have super different backgrounds and personalities. From my experience it was great to have 3/4 close friends on my course in my year. Then like 7/8 friends I met through the the computing networking society who were similiar interests just different ages etc. Then finallly I had a group of around 10/15 people from other courses and other universities that were al pretty different. They all dont have to be your best friends who you talk to everyday but do try to push yourself out of your comfort zone just to get used to talking and befriending people who are pretty different to you. It can be great to have a diverse group of friends! Liking all the recent videos keep it up!

@@jkwonnn It's certainly no challenge if you are just screen swapping, maybe if you do the FHD/UHD mod but I didn't think it was worth it, I like the charm of the original screen resolution. Less bleed/ghosting than other compatible IPS screens and it comes with the mounting rails, meaning you only have to swap the part, no modding needed.
