Your video walked me through all the steps to replace it with no problems and my new keyboard works perfectly. Wow, I didn't expect it to be that easy. Replacement keyboards are only about £12 if you shop around. It's almost easy enough to swap it regularly if you frequently needed dual language keyboards (different layouts are used for different languages, with extra keys for accents etc)
the video is EXTREMELY helpful...the only problem is that the keyboard doesn't seem to pop out that easily...and i've pressed quite hard in the back as well...

I have successfully flooded m keyboard with coffee. there's still a lot of liquid inside the keyboard but none in the actual electronic parts of the notebook. can I try and put the keyboard back in once it's dried up and will it be working again? thanks a lot!
Thank you for the video, really need to replace this one only the 5 and 6 work on the num strip and nothing on the keypad...the fn keys on top arent working either anymore and i barely touch them. This would be the 3rd keyboard on my g510 that has gone up. what do you recommend for a heavy handed typer besides stop typing so hard...
The little black piece that holds the keyboard wire in place has come off and I can't get it back on. I tried stuffing the wire in and putting the black piece back the only way I can get it to click in, but the keyboard is completely unresponsive (only a few keys were not working before). Any tips????

Bad idea! This doesn't work for the G505. Two more screws needed.
