    Shtraa-dee-vari. Sounds like a nod to 17th century Italian luthier Antonio Stradivari, who's musical instruments are considered to this day some of the finest to have ever been made.
    Definitely buying a pair of these when the price is correct.

    Looks like some nice improvements. Tip coverage always important.

    hey Mitch, thanks for the great content! is a dedicated RS S11 review in the works? what are the key things you've learnt that aren't covered in this initial impressions video? and how would you say they compare to the Mille GTS? best regards from Quebec

      I may have to do that soon… I have plenty of time in them now. The Mille GtS is a more relaxed fit with a thicker and wider pad. I prefer the Equipe line personally.

      @@MitchOnTwoWheels thanks for the quick reply! I look forward to that video. I've ordered both Mille GTS and Equipe S11 to compare. Thx to your reviews, I'm firmly on the Assos hype train

    What are your thoughts now, after riding? Just pulled the trigger. Did you ever try the RSR s9 targa shorts? Thanks!

      Use both in rotation still. Both are great!

    Nice, thanks for the review Mitch. Let us know what you think of them, after putting on some miles, compared to the S9 version.

      Will do… already have a few rides on them. They are great! But definitely have a few differences not mentioned in the video.

      @@MitchOnTwoWheels do you have any updates on the S11 after more time? I want to grab two pairs of assos bibs. Can't decide if I should get two of the S11 or just one S11 and one GTO. GTO I'm just not sure if I like the pattern on the front crotch - looks a bit like it draws attention?

    Thanks for sharing. would you mind telling how far (or not) back is the chamois ? its being quite tough to find bibs where the chamois actually fits with the larger area under the sitbones. just tried a Castelli one, with Kiss chamois, and the largest area is useless on the back, leaving the sitbones on the edge of the foam. thanks

      If you want a wider chamois, take a look at the Mille GT/GTS/GTO line... Much wider and thicker. Reach out to Assos for the technical questions, they're more than willing to help.

    To whom would you recommend the Mille GTO and to whom the Equipe S11?

    • @MitchOnTwoWheels
      @MitchOnTwoWheels  6 месяцев назад +1

      GTO is more if an endurance Bib, whereas the Equipe is more of a tighter fit racing Bib... Both have their place. I regularly use both depending on the length of the ride.

    Mitch if I'm a small in mille will I be the same size with equipe?

    • @MitchOnTwoWheels
      @MitchOnTwoWheels  9 месяцев назад +1

      I am the same size in both, but your best bet is to use their sizing calculator.

  • @nirismach

    The chamois composition and materials remain the same and it is only a design difference.

    try q36.5 superior design/materials still made in italy . i do not like assos low waist design and the crotch design.

      I find you need to size down on q365. I also took a thread ripper to the sides of my q365 chamois to get that golden gate feature on assos, and it improved the comfort! I wasn't a fan of the s9, the big vent holes in the chamois caused discomfort. Nice to see they went smaller here!

      @@MitchOnTwoWheels I've been riding Assos for 40 years (since real chamois). I also have ridden 36.5. I think Assos are still better for bibs, but I like 36.5 jerseys much more. I don't think Assos is really doing a great job with their jerseys.
