The shakedry material is in a class of 1. Just vary the baselayer and it is a genuine sub 10c running and cycling phenomenon. No need to decide what to wear and what waterproof jacket to carry. buy one before they vanish

yea but they never figured iut how to make it non black, which kinda dumb for something meant to be worn in the rain

It's an amazing material but because it's not sandwiched like normal gore Tex it's not as durable so bear that in mind if you are getting one.

When will a reviewer, any reviewer, point out that Rapha only put reflective or bright bands on the left arm - ie good for RHD countries, but if traffic drives on the left, tough - eg the UK, Australia, New Zealand, Japan, you know, small markets 🙄for the price you'd expect them to sell clothing that's designed to protect riders in the country they are selling their goods not just limit the range of clothing they stock to limit costs 😀🥺

for the shakedry race, do the stretch pannels wet out? is the one way zipper an issue?

Surprised not to see Assos in there. I've had an Assos lightweight packable for years. Use it all year round and always waterproof.

Should you have noted that Gore Shakedry is being discontinued

Shakedry my be small to pack, lightweight etc. but far to sensitive. Even the smallest thorn or bump agains anything will cause damage.
I prefer the Castelli Gavia. The most breathable 3layer rain jacket with reasonable packing dimensions I ever owned. And you can also use running vests with 2l bladders etc. without bothering to damage it. Also a good color and reflect details. Would highly recommend over any shakedry (I own the gore c5 + the insulated variant).

Why does rain keep 'FALLING'. After millions of years, one would expect rain to control its balance!

Rain clears the air of pollution. It is needed to keep plants alive too.
