Yes this is a follow up of the Idro 3. It is difficult to compare performance as this is the first jacket by Castelli after Gore stopped making PFC fabrics. In the new dawn of PFC free fabrics, this sets a new benchmark in performance using the lightest Gore Tex Active fabric available. The Slicker is the the replacement for the idro 3 Pro.
Thank you! I sincerly hope the performance is the sam or better than the idro…i was convinced to buy a idro a year ago…i felt so stupid afterwards for not purchasing that essential poece of kit before…i dont care if its raining anymore with my idro 😅
I am looking for 1005 waterproof jacket for hot climate. During wet season can get caught in monsoon like rains which is ok for short rides as its still hot but not nice for 200km audax :-) Is this jacket better than shakedry for hot wet rides?
