I’ve just watched a lot of your videos, they are great ! Kudos from France ! But that acoustic guitar sounds incredible, no matter which (weird) mic you put in front of it. 😅 Soooo it makes me want to buy a really great guitar and not worry too much about the mic 😊
Great video, as always! I see that you often mic an acoustic with a dynamic mic, how do you go about doing that? Whenever I try, the sound always seems very « far », like there’s much more room sound that with a condenser. Have you experienced anything like that?
Thanks so much! I think this probably depends on what dynamic microphone you’re using. I actually frequently find the opposite where a condenser will pick up more of the room than a dynamic. So it really just comes down to the mic choice and placement!
