Love JPs flutes. We have several. And although they are beautiful, I agree that it’s the sound that counts.
My second flute purchase was a JP Gomez in Em, ebonized walnut with leopardwood accents. It is still my favorite flute. Very sensitive and expressive. I am hoping that my next significant purchase will be one of his custom bass flutes...

My Heartsong A minor in Black Walnut sounds just like yours! I like that consistency! Next flute coming with that “reverse bear” as JP calls it. I really like that carving too.
Hey Jonny, thanks for posting this. My next flute will most likely be a JP Gomez, probably in the key of G or F# - but would love to have one in any key. There's one shop in Sedona that carries his flutes from time to time, but they didn't have any in stock this past week. Might have to just contact him and talk about making a custom one for me.
Wish list flute for me but I would like to play first. I haven’t yet been to a shop that has any of his flutes. Keeping a 👀 lookout.
To own one of JP's flutes (or even more) is my longtime dream, but unfortunately JP refused to accept several of my orders. I'm from Europe and JP is - which is understandable - quite frustrated with all the COVID obstructions coming with sending of his previous instruments overseas. But I am not giving up, not yet! :)
So sorry to hear that! You might try watching eBay for a used model. The seller may be able to accommodate your overseas shipping destination. They do pop up periodically but you have to be fast! Good-luck!

Hi John, We can wish all we like here..But JP wont ship to Wales in Uk. Infact he wont ship to uk. 😢. I do have a flute mad by Roger Mcgee, and must say it looks and sounds Fantastic. Take care john.

@@JonnyLipford If you spend time in Europe you'll find that mayonnaise is french fry favorite there. I agree with Brent here - mustard on fires.... *shudder* ;)
Army Chief where I live ketchup and mayo mixed together is popular for fries. I kind of like that better than straight ketchup.
