The 500E built by Porsche has the same auto gearbox as the 928. You may need the torque converter housing in the US, but in the EU both boxes are the 722 stamped on the box.
Worth fixing to at least be decent. They aren't building cars like this anymore so saving a few that aren't total wrecks is the only way they stick around.
Fix it. Not to many left. Worth bringing back to life.
