In Sam's defense, neither of this weeks INTs were on him. The 1st bounced of Logan Thomas's hands and the 2nd Samuel fell down on a quick slant than Sam threw with anticipation. I think the playcalling has been horrible all year and it's just built up to the point where Sam's worn down and I don't think any young QB could succeed with it. People are acting like it's just a 1-1 Sam= Bad Jacoby=good because a QB with more XP has been able to move the ball late but i think that's just a bigger indictment on the staff not being able to insulate and nurture a young QB. Right now the only difference in Sam's 1st season as a starter and Josh Allen & Matthew Stafford's is that Sam's durability has kept him on the field for extra abuse and extended the same decline they showed with no break. I think pulling him the last 2 games is another example of how bad the staff is since it removed any chance for him to rebuild some confidence in garbage time, otherwise he'd be right in line with Drew Brees & Trevor Lawrence's 1st years as starters too

The truth only to be known in time with Sam. Josh Allen did look like crap for his first season. I know "He ain't NO Josh Allen" .

Ron didn’t seem to want to be competitive this year. Should have gone for 2 in the week 4 game to beat Philly. Should have pulled Sam after the first giants loss when the team still had a mathematical chance. Glad the Rivera era is soon over.
To whoever wrote the headline: we also have an OT dilemma and a TE dilemma and an ED dilemma and a dilemma if Harrison is available. Taking the Best Player is the desirable option or taking the best deal to trade down if it is overly compensated because someone wants a top three trade status.
If you take Bowers or Harrison, each one takes two defenders and each one can get open anyway.
Bowers can turn offense into pitch and catch.
QB is NOT the weakest position. get over it.
Taking a QB in 1st round would be a huge mistake but exactly what the former owner would have done to have a drawing card.
What would it take to get two of these three players: Bowers, Harrison, Alt?

TE1, TE2, WR1, running game, Change of Pace back, Left Guard, Center, Mike, Free Safety, Edge Depth, play Calling both Offense and Defense, game management, long snapper, kicker, injured punter, morale dilemma. Weak ownership dilemma.

I’ve seen Sam throw passes a lot of starters aren’t throwing, he’s got something to him, he’s not ass like everyone thinks. If he was ass then he wouldn’t be top 10 in passing yards. @@Deems1525 I like Sam but not as a starter. I like Trevor because he’s 1/2 ft taller at least, has a stronger arm, has better vision and just fits the mole of the modern day NFL star QB.
Ron chocked on the wrong piece 🧩 of steak 🥩 this season. I believe Sam Howl is a really good QB with alot of fundementals too learn. I do believe Ron-River-On-Dope screwed Sam's career here in Washington. Basically Drafting Sam & Failing him. Let's Gooooooooo Draft Caleb Williams!

the thing is people think sam is supposed to be elite automatically all season with suspect playcalling being drop back so much being sack constantly with a bad oline and below average TEs. What will everyone say if we draft another qb and he goes the same way. What if we trade sam and he goes to another team and ball out. Who fault is it now. David Carr was the same way when he came in. I have always said the player is as good as the team he is drafted to and coaches around him.
We have a OL issue, our TE suck, Wr aren’t getting open consistently. Like sauce was all over them before garbage time jacoby came out. The coaching is horrible, run it back with same. Draft the generational LT. Build the D in the second. It’s not like the defence has no talent, coaching is just horrible

Jacoby will lose next two games. They will be able to score easily on Jonathan Allen and company.. Allen’s defense is terrible. The focus this season should be on the terrible defense. Teams will be able to game plan against check down Jacoby and shut him down. Jacoby will throw 3 picks a game. Jacoby knows this. He’s the last person who wants him out on the field.
He’s cooked you can tell. Done with this cursed franchise.

@@marvelousmars1660 Our ceiling with Rivera was 8-8-1. Regardless of what you think, he’s a joke as a coach. If Jacoby were truly competent, someone would’ve tried to trade for him at the deadline. Instead, the Jets stuck with Wilson.
