Thank you for posting some great racing but this one further reinforces my view that handicap motor races (any form) are a fucked up idea. If you're fast, you start at the front. If you're not as fast, you start behind the faster bikes/cars/trucks etc. and then race for position. Too much unnecessary carnage (body and budget) every time. Tragic night and long recovery but thankfully two top blokes continued to be involved in the sport. My opinion is that they are only done for the promoter and some in the audience who for some reason seem to think destroying bodies and vehicles are great for the sport. Don't get it.
