Corgi juniors renovation Lotus Esprit 007 no. 60. Models, springs. Making cardboard boxes.

The iconic Corgi model produced in 1977. Its original appeared in the James Bond film 007 in an episode titled The Spy Who Loved Me.
My model was in good condition, it mainly required painting and decals, but it did not have a box. Corgi packaged this model in various packaging. I made packaging from the initial stage of production in the form of a Blister. and I created my version of the packaging by shrinking the box of a Lotus Esprit made on a larger scale. Please rate which one is better. I made the stickers myself. I liked the version with the water sticker better. The original model had a paper sticker with glue.

Brilliant work! Reproducing packaging in this case almost overshadows the model restoration itself. This model would have appealed to 2 markets: Corgi and Bond fans. I agree: waterslide decals are far better for detailing models. Paper stickers are not good quality: they fade, peel off and the edges get ragged and worn. They reflect a decline in quality and cost cutting.
