- Miami upset USC 68-66 in a thriller that came down to the wire in the first round of the 2022 NCAA tournament. Isaiah Wong led the way for the Hurricanes with 22 points. They will now face Auburn in the Round of 32.

Make it 64-62. There where questionable calls on both ends. 18 turnovers to 3 as well. USC dug themselves into a hole not the refs.

Miami has only been absolutely blown out once... and that was to Alabama... tho we lost twice to FSU by 1 point.. both games... hopefully Wong shows up with this same energy against Auburn...I think that's gonna be a really interesting 10 - 2 matchup.

The Hurricanes did a great job of turning USC over in the 1st half, and then the Trojans were able to respond with a flurry of their own in the 2nd half. This is what the game of basketball is all about, it’s a game of runs, but it’s not about how you start, it’s how you finish is what it’s gonna come down to
USC got away with some fouls that should have been called on them.

@@robertreed3122 USC is one of the tallest teams in the country and miami dominated they just went 1-14 for three which is extremely rare...they hit more threes vs Auburn then they will win

Back in 2012, Jim Larranaga and Andy Einfield met in Coral Gables which Miami defeated FGCU. Going into this game, I predicted Miami because of the advantages they had in the backcourt. What hurt USC against Gonzaga last year? For all the interior length they had, their backcourt took them out of reach against the Bulldogs. The same thing happened for much of this game. What surprised me in spite of that, they came all the way back and would have forced OT.
