I know this is an old post but thank you for explaining how to manage file access in the Linux system. It's an issue that has bugged me since entering the chromosphere in the past two months.

Hi I want to buy a Chromebook myself, not a professional...I'm thinking I don't need more than that. Just have a cheap tablet right now. Do chromebooks have plenty storage?
Chromebooks will normally come with an SSD ranging from 32GB to 512GB depending on how much you spend. Local storage isn't too important as Google Drive is the main storage area for your files. Local storage is mainly used for apps.
