The two talked about head colds, Minnesota bands (LIKEHELL!), Prince, Elton John, radio DJs and making the '...Like Clockwork' record.

This is the best interview I have seen with Josh. Any interviewer that is cheezy he just BURNS. So it is a very big deal that he actually talks to her, and her to him. Great stuff.
i love the sara silverman interview is cool. she just tears into him and he pkays along. plus she is one of those girls who aren't really great looking (conventionally ) but is sooooo sexy
She completely works it. In that interview she plays hardball, and I agree he is right there with it. In this he respects her knowledge. Both great stuff.
you do know that the Sarah Silverman interview was a total work right? It was completely fake and just fun comedy shit.

If Josh wants to see more djs playing 'Kingmaker' he would have loved my radio show in college. And not just because I used TCV, Spinnerette, QoTSA, Kyuss and EoDM as the core of my shows. All 10 listeners were impressed...
Such a fantastic interview. I mean, Josh is funny and smart - but so is Jill. She gets him & QOTSA & has a great way of connecting with all this and getting some gems from Josh - omg "the Swiss army knife of musicians" was mos def one of them - So late but thanks for this interview that's so much better and yet shorter than so many others with Josh Homme. Helps too that she actually says Homme correctly.

Nice interview..none of the shameless trying to "get down with the musician" type of nonsense we get these days from so called music journos...just simple questions, nice easy conversation, respect for the subject..most of the questions were fine ( none of them that completely different from previous interviews, but Josh Homme's natural intelligence and wit fill the gaps anyway) but at least the interviewer showed genuine interest in the musician and what he had to say...good work
