Swapping phase A with phase B re-orders the fluxes so that the flux rotates in the opposite direction. Swapping B with C does exactly the same thing as does swapping A with C. Good morning exocaged! What's up bro! I have a question for you! That GT5 radio you have! How is your performance, experience and how you like it??????
Monster RCs I really like it. I am using it on 6-7 vehicles now and the distance is plenty good enough for me, the latency feels as fast as the futaba 4pls I have and I’ve had no issues at all with it
Ok I have a question... If you already had the Castle 800kv motor in your truck, why did you replace it with the 56113 from Hobbywing? Aren’t they supposed to be almost identical in output? Imm asking because I’m torn between the X-Maxx and the Super Rock Rey and I want to buy the very best motor I can buy to replace the stock one. Also, which ESC would you recommend, the Mamba X 8s or the Hobbywing Max6 (which I believe is smaller than the Max5... Can you please, elaborate? Thanks!!!!
That turned the X-maxx into an even faster beast! Wow! Y'all need to run RC on a softball/baseball field where the infield is all clay. then you can drift in circles for days. :D (Voice of experience.)
Would adding grease to the gear mesh help out with temps at all or will it just spin out and get everywhere? Is there a setup for belt driving the Xmaxx and is it feasible?

Question, I have a setup in my ftx carnage but the motor and esc gets hot after 5 minutes of run time with a 3s battery it's a 80amp hobbywing esc and I cant remember what motor it is what's going on and is it normal to run hot
Sounds like you’re looking for more speed and power. From what I see with that one the motor has deep cooling fins on it, that means the internals are smaller than a normal 540 size motor. Yucpukd upgrade to a new stronger motor. What’s your budget? You can get crazy with motors and esc’s. Usually a bigger motor/esc combo can take higher voltages and stay cooler. If your budget is really tight you can use the design of that motor to help cool it with a fan setup on it. If the esc is also hot maybe that needs a better fan. So what’s your budget and do you have a temp gun?

LoL yeah that’s Sean for you.
What size pinion are you running?
what pinion spur?
stock pinion 46 spur....
Good morning exocaged! What's up bro! I have a question for you! That GT5 radio you have! How is your performance, experience and how you like it??????
Monster RCs I really like it. I am using it on 6-7 vehicles now and the distance is plenty good enough for me, the latency feels as fast as the futaba 4pls I have and I’ve had no issues at all with it
My Man! I really appreciate again bubby! Mmm by the way! How much it is????
Monster RCs they range from $75-$85 depending on where you buy. If you want an eBay link I can get you one.
@@ExocagedRC Cool! I really appreciate hit me on Facebook messenger Jeremy pete! When you get a chance!
Great video man! big like & subbed to ya! Hobbywing makes some good stuff and this 800Kv motor does the cake for sure. thanks man
awesome welcome to the channel, I have a LOT of videos on most everything.
@Markus Dimitri ...maybe you can help me ? What is the kV limit on this esc?
Ok I have a question... If you already had the Castle 800kv motor in your truck, why did you replace it with the 56113 from Hobbywing? Aren’t they supposed to be almost identical in output? Imm asking because I’m torn between the X-Maxx and the Super Rock Rey and I want to buy the very best motor I can buy to replace the stock one. Also, which ESC would you recommend, the Mamba X 8s or the Hobbywing Max6 (which I believe is smaller than the Max5... Can you please, elaborate? Thanks!!!!
When he says 30 35 gearing witch on is the pinion and the spur
30 is pinion 35 is spur
@@ExocagedRC awesome thank you I just got this motor and esc combo and plan to start with your gear ratio
Grease will make a mess. Yes B&M RC makes a belt drive for them
Exocaged RC ok thanks 👍🏾
Also saw a belt drive for it on the wfo site
Awesome run guy's 👍👍 thing was hauling wow😁👍
One thing I for got that 56113 motor what is the max weight it can handle in a rc truck can you please find that out for me it will be very helpful ohhhhhh yes keep making those awesome video's
T.House I think it’s rated to 25lbs for 2wd I’ll send Hobbywing an email and verify
Would this motor work in a dhk maximus with work for motor bracket,
Powerful video too,
just P. X it’s way too big in size.
@@ExocagedRC OK, so keep within the 2260Kv it came with, I mean the motor dimensions
just P. X yeah stay with a normal size 1/8 size motor but don’t forget about the esc. That needs to be stronger as well.
@@gonzodetroitify I am a hobbywing dealer and a max8 and 2200kv motor would be great in there. Look up my Facebook page Jax RC Recycle and Repair, LLC if you are interested
@@slarmond38 sure will
Apart from the mod 1.5 pinion/spur gears, is the rest of the drive train a stock 8S system?
Yeah rest is just 8s
How are the diffs gonna hold up
Eric Tukes perfectly fine. I’ve been running the big Castle 2028 for quite a while without issues.
did you kill your lipos by going punch 5 on Max 5
@@ExocagedRC my budget can go up to 200GBP and i get get a temp gun my one broke a long time ago, i get paid friday so i can order one then, the motor is a VST2 Sport and the ESC is a hobby wing 80amp
@@18minimus18 ok cool, if hobbywing is easier to get, stay with them. Take a look at this esc I have one and it does pretty good with a 550 size motor rover.ebay.com/rover/1/711-53200-19255-0/1?mpre=https%3A%2F%2Fwww.ebay.com%2Fitm%2FHobbywing-XR8-SCT-PRO-ESC-140A-Speed-Control-1-10-Short-Course-Truck%2F132129920838%3Fepid%3D2069353270%26hash%3Ditem1ec38e9746%3Ag%3A2zQAAOSw9tlb6RVf%3Asc%3AUSPSFirstClass!32068!US!-1&campid=5338273090&toolid=20008
it appears your motor is around 4300kv thats quite a bit for 3s, you can drop down in kv but use a larger pinion to get what you need, I found this combo that I've used in a Tekno SCT before and it did really good, you'll need a new pinion gear and go up 3 teeth on it. rover.ebay.com/rover/1/711-53200-19255-0/1?mpre=https%3A%2F%2Fwww.ebay.com%2Fitm%2FHWA38020412-Hobbywing-Xerun-XR8-SCT-Brushless-ESC-3660SD-G2-Motor-Combo-3600kV%2F401277366347%3Fepid%3D567730966%26hash%3Ditem5d6dfeb04b%3Ag%3AD~gAAOSw4CFYpgIJ&campid=5338273090&toolid=20008
I can get a motor that's the same but 3800kv the 3600 kv I have to import and the postage is alot
