About PAIN:
PAIN is an industrial metal project created by Peter Tägtgren, a Swedish musician, multi-instrumentalist, and producer. If you want to hear this story from him, it would be short and straight to the point: “PAIN was just me f'n around in the studio, and it grew into becoming a band.”
Started as a one-man project with all the vocals, instruments parts, and production made by one person… Well, it still is, but not only. It also became a prominent touring group that today consists of, apart from Peter, his son Sebastian Tägtgren (drums), Jonathan Olsson (bass), and Sebastian Svalland (guitar).
Nevertheless, a long time ago, in 1997, when the debut album of the project was released, there was nobody but Peter. By this time, he already had four successful albums with Hypocrisy - and also had some ideas that wouldn’t go with the band’s style.
That’s how the story of PAIN began - the story where 8 albums are known and loved for such smashing hits as ‘End Of The Line’, ‘Shut Your Mouth’, ‘Same Old Song’, ‘Follow Me’, ‘Coming Home’ and many more. This story also contains strong lyrics, rich arrangements, solid melodies, unflagging energy, killing live shows, and big plans for the future.

Love Anette! Her album Dark Passion Play is my fav Nightwish album.
She is now the lead singer in a Finnish metal band called "The Dark Element". Check it out!
This is a very good song!
That album is really powerful and a bit underrated imo. I became a fan of her when I heard the album at it's release. I agree, The Dark Element are great! Check out Anettes solo stuff too, it's really good aswell.
Things change, for the last about six months my fav Nightwish album has been Angels Fall First. Yep, the 1st NW album. Didn't see that coming. DPP is still a great one.

Anette fits PERFECTLY in this song aand in this band! To all those who have considered Anette a b-series singer I would say: "Listen to this masterpiece! You will change your minds!"
To me Anette has always been class A.
My favorite Nightwish album is Anette's Dark Passion Play, despite that I'm a huge fan of Tarja too.
Nightwish have a strange skill kicking out class A singers.
Anette wasn't bad, but Tarja was a better singer during the initial period and Floor is the perfect singer for the band. The band was stopping to play the classics because Anette wasn't able to sing them and the fans want to hear the good songs, not the mediocre songs the band was putting out in order for Anette to be able to perform.
@@mikatu They didn´t "stop playing classics" because Anette could not sing them. They wanted something new, not another classical singer. Why on earth would they pick a singer "just because" and change they´r music style for her?
Tuomas changed they´re style and composed DPP before they even picked her.
@@mikatu Which songs do you mean mediocre? The most selling albums was with Annette's vocals. The dark passion play and imaginaerum, Floor couldn't sell more.
Besides NW wanted to change music style this is the reason who took Annette between 2000 singers.
And sell more albums from same Tarja which i love very much also.

TheSmaxZonedElite She didn"t really fit into nightwish as she has too soft voice for it. Floor is much better and Tarja was the non plus ultra. This type of songs is great with her voice, though. She was just not Nightwish....

I was looking for any song titled Follow Me...and came to this one. As an "OLD" rocker...at 57....I like this song. All of us have our own taste in music. I can't criticize anyone who doesn't like it. It's your choice. Like what you want...ok? Life is too short to waste on all the criticizing...and hatred ...the world needs some form of cooperation...and lots more love. Look at how it is falling apart now. It's sad.
