Another tip from personal experience: whenever the setter is about to recieve and pass a ball to the WS or MB, by the time the SE touches the ball, you should block automatically if the SE gives it to the MB, but if not, then use a slide to slide backwards to save the ball after the oppose WS hits it, you should be able to then counter spike it

Spiking the serve is illegal, it gets rid of rank.
