The issue I've found with almost all volleyball games is they either try emulate the entire 6 person game and become an overambitious, unpolished mess like Spike Volleyball or similar games featured in this video, or they limit themselves to beach volleyball, which can be entertaining for a while but loses so much complexity that it's simply too repetitive after a while. A game like The Spike does this well, where it uses 3 players to give variety in the attacking options while minimizing the issues of having 6 players all controlled by one person. Focus on the fun aspects of the game, letting the player do all sorts of serves and be able to tip, back row attacks, quick attacks, setter dumps, all the things that make the sport fun. And give them the option to play a really difficult AI. I have spent literal years playing the USSR on NES Volleyball and will continue to do so because every time i come back it's always a challenge i can spend hours on. Good luck
please introduce a mode where i get to control 1 player only while the rest of my friends control other players (like pro clubs in fifa for example) it would be so much fun if we can have a 6v6 of a 3v3 mode that we can enjoy with others
Seems like the games have actually unevolved. 1989 Super Spike Vball was legit World Cup volley 95 2000 Power Spike Pro Beach Volleyball 2003 Summer Heat Beach Volleyball 2008 Womens Volleyball Championship Then it all went downhill
where is the Dead Or Alive Xtreme series???? its one of the best volleyball games out there, it looks really great and the volleyball mechanic in the 3 game was perfect, and yea it has its dirty moments but its still a good game and very underrated

I just want a volleyball game that looks and feels as clean and good as a FIFA or 2k game. Yeah micro transactions have ruined them but to get a game on that level would be amazing
