I do adore my scraps. I found a garage sale where a "fabric rep." (who had fabric samples to show quilt shops) was selling all her "samples". So I bought a lot of "scraps" at that sale!! It has blessed my scrap life a LOT.

I just love your creative and giving heart. I did a similar thing with one of those tins actually several things. I filled one that had bees on it with little notes of gradatude and encouragement for my doctor. One visit I noticed he had bubble bee socks on, I commented and he told me his wife got them for him. He loved the gift and shared it with others at a hospital board meeting and said they needed to do something with thought and appreciation for the staff at the hospital. Another I filled with little fishes for two little brothers who loved fishing. And again with dinosaurs. Also I am known as a MerryMary. Prov.17:22 NKJV you blessed me today, TY

Some fabric marking pens, or other small findings would fit into the tops of the pencil boxes.

The tin pencil case with little squares was very cute, but what can you do with those tiny squares?
So far, I've made a miniature, bordered blocks in a baby quilt, and made a table runner. I love sewing tiny!!

I Cannot imagine spending time messing with 1" squares. What a waste of time & resources. However love the flowers!
Ha...ha...ha... after you sew with 1.5 inch squares and make sweet little miniatures and adorableness, you might just change your mind. LOVE sewing with my little squares. It's art!! I love the flowers too!!
