Thanks for showcasing my latest AutoFPS app version, which supports both MSFS 2020 and 2024. I am glad it is working well for you. FYI, there will likely be a small update in the next week or two to address some minor issues raised in other reviews and that I'll keep an eye out for here, but otherwise the reception has been very good so far. I hope it continues to make your MSFS experience more enjoyable.
Another great program from Bitsum called Park Control really helps to smooth out performance and when you add auto FPS on top of that, it’s like black magic for the SIM.
@ honestly I’ve never actually use Discord. I have no idea how to use it. By forcing all cores to be active, Park Control can sometimes lead to a slight boost in frames per second, especially in games that might not be effectively utilizing all available cores resulting in smoother gameplay. Consistent use of all cores can potentially minimize performance dips and stuttering in certain situations. I don’t believe it actually gives you necessarily higher FPS. But it does reduce the micro stuttering tremendously. And since Microsoft flight simulator 2024 is now utilizing multi thread it makes sense to umpark your CPU. By the way, the program is also free And I would love to see someone like you do some extensive test testing on this. And maybe even potentially do a video about it. I’ve been using it for years and it’s something I won’t fly without.
Just a thought - as you have not selected ‘On top’ is MSFS focused (selected) to run priority over Auto FPS. As if you had selected the sim the Auto FPS control panel would surely be hidden. Thanks.
Such tremendous amount of performance and smoothness gainz.... Microsoft should acquire this add on and build right in to the sim. Because they are apparently not eligible or capable to develop such thing themselves (which is developed by a single indie dev....) Ridiculous...
Lossless scaling is a great program if you don’t have a 40 series card, but I found that it creates a lot of odd problems. But if you can get it working, it does some cool things.
Lossless Scaling was working great for me but since I 'upgraded' to 24H2 on Windows 11 I've had problems both in 2024 and 2020. Particularly the screen (not the game itself) freezing, which seems to usually, but exclusively, manifest itself at key states of flight i.e. take-off/landings. While you can get the picture back by Alt Tabbing out of the game and from the Lossless Scaling screen clicking on the sim in the background it's irritating and stressful if you're barreling down the runway and the screen freezes. From the Lossless Scaling changelog it's apparently down to a change in capture method implemented in 24H2.
And yes you can use Frame Generation (FG) (and Lossless Scaling if you prefer) with Auto FPS. But be warned for many FG in MSFS 2024 is not giving the reliable FPS increase seen in 2020 or in some cases any increase at all.
That's all very well but why do we need to do these things in the new sim it should work we shouldn't have to start downloading things like the last one to make it better it should be better
I hate when this stuff happens. I was getting 115-125 FPS solid and smooth on my monster PC, Monster, best of everything. I installed Auto FPS, it put me at 40 FPS (why in the world did it put me at 40 FPS, and nothing else I put in stuck, it would revert back to 40FPS)with stuttering. I removed it and now back to much better frame rates, and much smoother, but now with occasional stutters. I guess the old adage if it is working leave it alone rings true. I removed the module from the community folder but cannot find how to remove the Auto FPS. Thank you, different yolks for different folks. Ryzen 7950X3D, 64 GB RAM 6000MHz, RTX 4090, and Auto FPS thinks I need to run at 40 FPS and stuttering...
40 FPS is the default and is suitable for many users without a high end system like yours. It can be changed to whatever you want, in much less time it took you to write this. Oh and removal of the app is covered in the readme you clearly did not read.
Really? 50 - 70 fps with Framegen and Auto LOD and you call this fantastic/best performance? Maybe it ist the best you can get. But shouldn’t be necessary to do all this with your hardware to be able to play the game. What will medium spec owners have to do in order to do a decent flight?!

Thank you @ResetXPDR so much. Great job
How Microsoft doesn't buy this for 500k and work it in natively is just beyond me

Can you hit me up on my discord? Link is in the description. I’d like to know more about this program if you don’t mind

Thank you for that information!!! Fantastic, it works great in 2020 also, I can now run in Ultra, something I could never do in the past

Combine this wonderful app and Lossless Scaling. Pfffff, smooth as silk.
Btw….some nice channel growth recently. Good for you 🎉
Yes it’s been fun and exciting! Thank you brother
i wonder to know what doest Mobiflight WASM Module do in MSFS 2024? thank you

Why is this 'Mobiflight' folder required?
do you think the losless scaling app on steam is better or the frame gen mod for 2024 ? Also can I use frame gen along with autofps?
I haven’t used lossless so i can’t really say but I’m very happy with the frame gen if that helps

How do I move the community folder to a different drive? I don't want it on my C drive.
Got it running.. Get constant in game error messages that the game cannot access live traffic
I get an exception error on install and it fails.
I just use frame gen and all is good on 2024.
Hello, but does it work in VR?
It does for me. HP G2 and recently the Quest 3. Used it always in FS2020. Now happy to use in FS24.
I installed it but it just shows MSFS2020 and not MSFS2024?
Load up MSFS 2024 and it will change.
Yep…you know 😁
THIS IS NOT OK LOL!! Im just going to start my videos by saying hi to you lol
That's all very well but why do we need to do these things in the new sim it should work we shouldn't have to start downloading things like the last one to make it better it should be better

CONFUSED. dont see games and apps. no community folder exists
Does not work says incompatible
