It is so funny! I have been trying for several hours to set up my controls and getting so frustrated that I shut it down! I really needed this video, thank you!!
I use Logitech controllers (pedals and yoke) but I also have plugged into the yoke the multipanel and switch panel also from Logitech. MSFS2024 will not see these two peripherals. This is why I use Spad.Next.
How is it they designed a system so complex and they cant design it so your seeing your controller movement onscreen? Like if I move my joystick I should see it onscreen and know its the one I am selecting. Instead you assign Joystick1left upX/Raxis to pitch. How is that a good design?
An inspirational video, thank you. I have spad.next but I've only used it for things I couldn't do in the MSFS configuration settings. If I set it up for everything would it work with MSFS 2020 and 2024, simply depending on which version I used? Also, how do you backup your settings?
Thanks for the analysis! A bit off-topic, but I wanted to ask: I have a SafePal wallet with USDT, and I have the seed phrase. (alarm fetch churn bridge exercise tape speak race clerk couch crater letter). How can I transfer them to Binance?
I’m having a problem. Most of the aircraft with avionics have black screens no matter what I try. I am using the Honeycomb yoke and throttle but it does the same with my virple stuff hooked up so I don’t think it’s a switch issue. Any thoughts?
Can you make a video (or direct me to one) on how to use Spad to copy my control settings from MSFS2020 over to MSFS2024? My desire is to use my joystick/throttle/rudder controls exactly as is on FS2020 and use them for FS2024.
Hello, I am experiencing difficulties programming my Yawman arrow using Spad. Despite my efforts, I have been unable to initiate any movement of the arrow’s internal buttons within Microsoft Flight Simulator 2024. I have updated both the application and the bridge software (LVAR), and the Spad add-on is located in the community folder. However, I am unable to make it functional. I won’t even dare to ask in their discord channel 😅
I was already ready to use SPAD. Seeing you trying to get into the airplane made me chuckle. Try hopping in the PMDG 777 300ER. I can walk around this beast but I can exactly open a door and walk in. 🤣 You are correct on customer support. I asked them one question and they were assholes.
@@OverkillSimulations I don't know how it works until I can figure out how to get into it. LOL Reading posts from Robert Randazzo, they are working on it. They did not get the SDK with enough time to be ready for launch. I think it is a familiar theme for developers. It seems like a no-brainer but I won't criticize. I have a rule to not criticize unless I have been in those shoes. I have not. :)
Starting days I get but is anyone else tired of paying full price to be what used to be a beta test software? High price, low bar... Also TCA Boeing edition isn't quite working yet either... Will be sticking with Spad for sure!
i sat at my pc for 100s of hours on 2020 not this time for 2024, better things to do in my life than sit on mfs 2024 for another 100 hours plus love your work thanks for your hard work tho i think i'm done with mfs 2024
I can no longer get inside the plane, the toggle between the cockpit and the outside view no longer works. It worked fine yesterday. That's it I'm applying for a refund!
Oh man, the control setup is a MESS. They happend to take the 2020 control mapping which is terrible and make a it 10 times worse! I really wanna like 2024, but its very difficult right now!
Have not tried Spad, but downloaded 2024 in 1/2 hour (mid-day-Illinois on the 20th), and after configuring my Bravo I took a short flight in the 172 from KDPA to KDKB with zero issues-smooth as silk! I have the Ryzen7 3800 cpu and AMD RX 5700TX gaming card.
Microsoft wanted to gamify FS2024 more. I think that's why we got that interface. Not a fan. I agree it's worse. Although, to their credit, I do think it's a little smoother and quicker.
I want to thank Steam Customer Service for processing my request to refund my purchase in just a little over an hour after I sent it.. Given the climate and mass of the requests for service at this moment, I was solidly and pleasantly surprised.

Are your earlier tutorials for spad applicable to the latest version of spad?
I’m one of those who was treated very badly by their staff
Thx Lee

How’s it working in 2024??
Yeah I couldn’t figure it out lol!!

VPC panels are awesome. I have one mounted on a wall tv mount that swings out when Im in GA aircraft. Controls condition levers, flaps, gear, trim etc
Just ordered VPC CM3 throttle and alpha prime. Can't wait!!

Doesn't Aircraft manager work with fs 2024? It does all that
Overkill- I loved Chase Plane in P3D, why hasn't Parelle 42 created that product for MSFS 2020 AND 2024? It was so easy to use.
Can you do a tutorial on helicopter controls using SPAD?
Yes I will :)

lol my pleasure
It’s like they fired the guy who made the ui for 2020 then told the intern to do it
Yes i used spad when alpha testing and worked then

Yes…not good UI in the sim. I just havent gotten used to spad either. Its pretty complex, and I cant seem to get a grasp on what and how to setup
Look for my videos bro! I have a ton of tutorials if that will help
@ ….will do. Its probably just impatience on my part 🤣
Also try downloading pre made profiles for your aircraft and then altering them a little. Works for me nearly every time 😊

I will agree with all of it
Yeah as much as I enjoy the added benefits of spad, some of their support people on discord are extremely condescending!
I have Spad.next since P3DV3.5. Almost one century ago. LOL
Not being able to port controls over from 2020 is so bloody stupid!
spad has always been top tier
Yes I use it and they are VERY RUDE 100%
Yes, one of these guys is particularly odious when replying to users. 🤮
your wrong device might be a xbox controller drifting unplug it
I thought so too but it did it again today with nothing else plugged in. Really odd
@@OverkillSimulations dang
Another annoying thing- trying to enter the plane that doesn’t have a door. They should have on the dash, press “shift+c” to enter the cockpit.
Horrible customer service and horrible human. Wouldn’t buy shit from them ever again.
