Where was Russell trust when you need him in 2014,2015, and 2016... when Katie had to take over the team when he was on his injury? Remember Russell was not the only one who had to carry the team it was also KD so you don't get the Judgment of back-and-forth tried his best to carry a team
Just because Russell was saving day... He still didn't try his best to get yall of the finals again? And it got it nowhere near championship...

Me too.
That wasn't the issue lmfao wtf
@H DG you sound stupid! Russ in OKC KD days was unstoppable! I use to hate when my team played them in the playoffs! You knew Russ was getting his triple double and 30+ points, KD was always getting his, Serge did his thing and Adam's did his thing in the post! They balled out. They had a good squad back when but they just never made it to that level. Because you had to get past Golden State and that's no easy task by no means. Then you would have a Lebron, Love and Irving led team that dominated the east. So competition was heavy. I mean Russell fell off and sucks now but back then he didn't. I'll give him that.

KD punked up this game. Missing shots you can make in your sleep.
IKR dude wants to play good asf for the warriors but doesn’t show up when he was needed the most for okc 🤦🏾♂️
The real beginning signs of the Warriors cracking because of their foolhardy chase to beat the 95-96 Bulls.
Had they held back and merely won 64-65 games and rested guys they wouldn't have gone 7 games here (where they should have lost) and wouldn't have lost in 7 to Cleveland.
@Shaan Keole And? You don't need the top seed to win. And at times it is better just to coast in and be healthy. that clearly would have helped the warriors more than winning 73, being tired and injured and choking it all away.
@@scottb3034 Ok first of all you argument is completely ruled by hindsight. Sure the Warriors couldnt win the chip but to call their attempt at history "foolhardy" is just not true, especially with how close they were to actually succeeding.
Your argument makes no sense, you cant say that holding back for a few games can prevent injuries. Injuries can happen regardless of how much you maintain your body. It would be a different story if the injuries were actually fatigue-related, but theres really nothing you can do with the freak accidents especially like the one that derailed the 2016 playoff run. Resting more throughout the season wont prevent JR Smith from falling onto Andrew Bogut's knee, and it definitely wont prevent Steph from spraining his MCL on a wet spot
@@deiondre0 It was absolutely foolhardy even at the time it was happening. The warriors were a far cry from dominance that they were in the regular season. Having issues in the early rounds and then being absolutely dominated by the thunder until durant and westbrook choked. The WCF pretty much proved their chase for history was foolish even if they squeaked it out. then again maybe you are right, maybe no amount of rest would have helped since the thunder fell to the same ailment that screwed the warriors over and the thunder were a better rested team. they could shouldn't when it mattered most just like the warriors shot poorly when they lost the Finals.
That said, fatigue CAN play into shooting badly just as much as going simply cold. If you think Curry and Klay weren't feeling it by game 100 you are crazy. Those cats were tired, had more aches because they played longer and harder than most teams including the cavs to be the best of all-time...it got to them. That's why load management is such a huge thing now...both to keep injuries to a minimum but stop fatigue and fatigue-injuries.
Curry had a long injury history in his career that the Dubs should have been mindful of and maybe you can't account for a wetspot but you can do everything in your power to keep your injury prone MVP as healthy as possible. Klay has been injury prone ever since 2016 and I think this grind had a lot to do with it. Joints don't heal/repair from stress ever--once the damage is done it is there forever and the location never gets stronger like a muscle or bone can. They aren't muscles. Klay is wracking up leg injuries like he is steph curry.
This team tried way too hard and it cost them. Once again, they are a 65 win team or so not a 73 win team and it showed once the games reached triple digits and the warriors finished .500 their final two rounds/14 games of the playoffs after having an .800 WL% before those rounds.
Trying to win .800 of your games is not easy. While the 1997 bulls did it kind of easily (easily the deepest team post-1990 in NBA history besides maybe the 1992 bulls who also stormed the league), the 1996 bulls struggled, after the first round, against the knicks...got a small second wind but probably shouldn't have swept the magic if orlando had ANY guts or grit and then struggled to shoot and defend for a large chunk of the finals. that team was fatigued and they actually WERE the 70 win team the warriors never were.
I mean if they might have what in 2012 against Miami heat because Chris Bosh barely scored and d wade was on the most it was just lbj who was scoring
Also I meant they probably would have one
Kd should’ve stayed it would’ve ruined curry’s legacy and Lebrons but bron might have 5 but kd would’ve changed a lot if he stayed
