- The Golden State Warriors top the Oklahoma City Thunder to become only the 10th team in NBA history to overcome a 3-1 series deficit. The Warriors will face the Cavaliers in the NBA Finals.

dunk contest; warriors cavs christmas day, thunder warriors super bowl weekend in the bay, thunder warriors r2 in okc, spurs 40 & 1 at home, thunder beating the 67 win spurs in the playoffs, steph curry ot pts record against blazers in the playoffs, 1st ever unanimous mvp, warriors were the main event and the cavs beating them at the end set the stage for the next year. 2017 was going to be even better with official bad blood between spurs, thunder, warriors, cavs and anyones guess for the ship. Then durant went to gs and the rest is history sighs.

The thing about the Warriors that sets them apart from other teams during this run they’ve been on is that they will not die. They are nearly impossible to close out. They’ve lost 2 playoff series since 2015, to the Cavs and to the Raptors and it took everything those teams had to close them out. They won’t give up.

He is a coward. No matter how you turn it. OKC was ready to sign any form of additional scoring help for KD and gave him all he wanted in order to keep championship aspirations up. KD was right before his prime years and decided to let all that development crumble and become the most overqualified role player in history.
During those OKC years of KD and Russ, i kept saying that Russ needed to change his game or be traded since he was just putting up empty stats and didn't contribute to winning basketball. Russ mostly made bad in-game decisions that cost them games and KD just had to leave that. That's why me and my friends knew that Russ going to the Lakers with Lebron would never work. At least now most of the world sees it.

I was at this game - truly a classic. The moment when Livingston dunked in the 3rd, I just remember being in a sea of yellow ... the noise was amazing. Met Bernie Sanders, sat a couple of seats behind Dance Cam Mom - I will never forget that experience.

Steph was the game MVP 3 games out of 4. He only had one bad game. Happen to everyone. Just look at Jordan stat from 96: 22pts with only 5 FG in 19 Att in the crucial G6 victory. Not very MVP like, far from it in particular if you compare with Jordan standard.
So nope don't really make sense to not have the best player for 75% of the series to not get the FMVP just because of ONE bad performance (even though it was a very bad one)
