I was a diabolist and a malicious deviant who turned to witchcraft and devil worship in rebellion towards God. It is one of the greatest shames in my life having grown up loving the Lord and seeing how great of a fall I had away from the Lord by not heeding his word, obeying my parents, and taking advantage of the grace he offered. Now as an adult who has repented and followed Christ I see not only the great and grievous damage that I did, but also the absolute blasphemy and hatred I had towards the Lord. Praise God for his great mercy and for Jesus Christ who shed his blood on the cross for sinners like me.
Thank you for speaking on this topic, it's something that doesn't get covered very often in a objective, rational, and reconciliatory manner

@@mislav3762 I would say the same thing, however a lot of that overachieving mindset has to deal with the issue of pride. I left the AODA feeling like an absolute failure for not going through with the self initiation all the stuff affiliated with that, so I understand how you feel, I was there just a few months ago again, because people showed their true colors and intents on where they wanted to go, but clearly violated thier own beliefs and my beliefs, and assumed a lot about me based on what little I told them. That's not counting the philosophical holes. It was that table flip from the "darkness" whether I knew of it or not, but it was much needed and what I wanted, Ive no room to complain of how it went down, although how it was done on my end could honestly been better. An apology is not forced, you have to do that on your own, when you repent its because you're doing it for the sake of the person in front of you, Jesus Christ, and youre going to make small little steps to change that while God takes leaps and bounds towards you the more you take those little steps, not worrying about the small failures along the way because it's also important to remember, that youre only a fallen human, we all are, even the clergy and the saints, you just need to get back up and continue on. the fact that you are able to reflect on yourself is eveidence enough for me to suggest that you do have that ability to apologize and change, but youre simply psyching yourself because of some kind of baggage, a demon even, and choosing not to out of shame or guilt, in the face of the Truth. Which is what is making you sensitive to the light, it literally burns you, but the reality is that you're not actually running full sail into the abyss, and youre not actually taking that risk and getting that humbling thrill of getting rid of all that youve worked for, evidence of time and money wasted on trivial matters. If you want that, Jesus Christ has the answer, The Theotokos can even help you, she did with Mary of Egypt and a whole slew of others. All you have to do is ask, no fancy frills and tricks, a humbled heart is what you need, if you dont know what that means, ask, they will show you, you just need to pay attention and be receptive. You have no excuses.

I'm an Orthodox Christian, but I used to be a satanist in the past. I would like to share my own experiences.
I was 12 years old. I read LaVey's «satanic bible» and embraced satanism. I had no information about the church or Christ.
(I have some knowledge about Christ as child from Ukrania, but no so much. And I hearded about church only bad things like corruption you know)
And I thought satanism was a good idea.
I began studying and practicing occultism, esoterica, demonology, kabbalah, and other heresy. Sometimes I heard about God, but everything seemed so corrupted and untrue to me. It all greatly affected my already troubled mind and became mixed up trash.
But one day I read the Gospel of John (Євангеліє від Іоанна) and realized that it was the TRUTH. It was truly a salvation, as I had been searching for the Truth throughout my entire time, and it was right in front of me.
Since then, I have been striving to be as close to God as possible because I know that He is the true path, the Giver of life, and our Savior.
Of course, all that Satanism did not leave me without some stuff.
I am a traumatized person who has to paint the worst images that she can imagine (and my eccentricity from before and society I have been also contributed to this)
I am very glad that I found your channel because I see that you have also been through something that has left an impact on your personality. And I also see how easily you can joke even about serious topics, which feels familiar to me.

Around that 13:40 mark it reminds me of a video I saw a long time ago when a dark witch talked about the steps to make a deal with a demon/demons. She noted that one of the first things one must do (and this is in terms of just initially getting into this stuff) is to become an empty cup. They must disregard any sense of conscience & morality that they’ve been taught and/or embraced. It’s really accepting the idea of there being no right or wrong thus a thelema mindset.
Very sad stuff being that game always recognizes game. What they don’t realize is that just as they can engage in this stuff and even weaponize it, it can also be used on them too. Plus the devil is a legalistic so I’d imagine that they’d have to be very specific and to the tee when conducting rituals, making covenants/oaths/deal, and so on. No thanks for me.

Is there any other position you can be other than a Satanist or a Christian?
Jesus told the religious people in John, that "Their father was the Devil" when they refused to listen to him.
So if you reject God, you will be a Satanist. (Though one may not call themselves that. Your video was on self-proclaimed satanism.) I had a question. What is the Orthodox position on rebaptism? Do they believe that if one is baptized in the name of the Father and the Son and the Holy Spirit, or does it have to have additional qualities like being for the remission of sins, or be administered by an Orthodox to be valid?
You made an interesting point about eikons that I hadn't considered. Many fundamentalists have no problem with physical things carrying dark power, which is why some are against trick-or-treating or listening to Rock Music. (I am sort of against those too.) But the idea that objects carry light power is unacceptable. Leaving the devil with power in the physical world, and God without any. I really feel like that could be a good argument for eikons.

@@theturtwig50 Valid point. The Jews at that time had more knowledge than other people and had every reason to accept Jesus as Messiah, and they didn't, so it is not wise for me to transfer that to other people who don't have the same knowledge level. We do know that God delivered us out of the kingdom of darkness though, so I would say that anyone who has not been delivered out of the kingdom of darkness is in the kingdom of darkness, and so how far is that from Satanism? It just depends on which direction you look.
