hey everybody!! sorry for the 2-month hiatus, I just had a lot of things to do .BUT I am back (hopefully)! In the meanwhile, everything on my Etsy is also 20% until December 2nd as I am hosting a Black Friday Sale! Thank you very much!! www.etsy.com/shop/EmilyStudying
Hey Emily, THANK YOU SO MUCH, thx to the vibes you give and all that motivation to make fancy notes motivated me soooooo much, like I am addicted to filling that page with information and aesthetic. I tried doing it in every subject today and for the chemistry exam and it worked FLAWLESSLY, bc I was the only one in class who actually focused without doing stuff like talking to other students. Luv you, stay safe, and again THANK U.
so much time using the calendar inefficiently ! thank you so much Emily for explaining everything so well, in a clear, simple way and with a well edited video.
I didn't know you could do timezones in Google Calendar🤯. The more you learn. I've learnt so many useful hacks in this 10-minute video. Thanks for this amazing resource, Emily!
This is-sorta like Outlook. I never knew you could do so much on Google calendar. And she does a good job of explaining it. That was a lot of information in a short time. She talks fast so it keeps your attention and also keeps you focused on what she is saying. Great job 👍 ✨
there’s a default calendar for tasks that let’s you do what you did in both 3:38 and 9:30. it’s connected to google task which you can also see in the sidebar on the right just below where google keep is. enter the task and time in a checkbox, and it automatically adds to your calendar. check the task calendar in your calendars and you’re done

I'm actually using thunderbird as a mail and calendar client, but some of your tips are still incredibly helpful for me like keeping a secondary calendar for office hours! Thanks
Thank you for this amazingly detailed video. I had been using google calendar thinking its a crap calendar all this time. Just stumbled upon this video and I see it so differently now. 😀
Thank you, Emily. I have been avoiding sorting out my calendar, and was so glad when your video popped up. My google calendar looks amazing now, and I'm feeling so organised!
This is so useful for time management, plus the google calendar connect automatically with my phone (google calendar mobile apps. Thank you so much Emily
This video is so great. You just took me to all the details and I wanted to know in a way that I'll understand. I tried using google calender like six months ago and I searched for tutorial videos but any of those really helped me. So Thank You.
This is really good. I like to use Google keep to plan things that happen on a certain month but not date or that I want to start doing on a certain month so I have 12 notes for the year, then at the end of the month I just add them to my calendar if I want to do them on a certain day or I just start doing the project if it’s a project
Thank you for the video! I used Google calendar all through undergrad but I feel like I didn’t use it as efficiently as I could’ve. Starting grad school soon so this video really helped me organize my schedule and to-do lists (+ I didn’t even know about Keep) 😊
Thank you, It was good way to plan things. My calendar used to get messy, but now I have a clear and clean one :) P.S. default colors actually yell out a lot
Do you know how we can just copy and paste a block without having to be clicking on "duplicate" every time? Btw, thank you so much for all these amazing hacks! It was really helpful!
Thank you for this! I have bought a physicial calendar because I like it, but i end up using both that and my google calendar which makes it useless. I hated the colors of GC haha.so thank you for these tips! I will probably switch over completely to GC now
just come through your video today to relax and find some típs for fun! I find ur comments about the shortcuts were rlly hilarious xD thanks for the tips btw
Hi Emily, I wanted to ask that can we have an alternative calendar for a particular day. SO that I only get reminders from that alternative calendar when I want.
Anyone can chime in, but how do you manage it when there are random things that pop out like maybe a friends invites you over to hangout or something. How do you manage it when you go out of schedule? Me, I feel like it gets so chaotic and I have to make up the time the following hour or the following day. It messes me up.
Emily thanks for your valuable information. I was watching it in my office and they are making fun of it that I am watching you, not the video. Prove them wrong that you don't like me.
i got a question for several years now and at some point i just gave up asking but since some time has passed i thought i give it a go and start looking for it again maybe you can help. first off is i dont even know how to name what im looking for or if there is a name that describes what im looking for. imagine the following. a task that is set let say at monday 9 am. but it has a cooldown for example after 48 hours it will be removed / replaced. now if i complete this task at some point AFTER monday 9 am let say i complete this task 10 am monday. it will have a internal count down and reapear at 48 hours after it was completed in this case wednesday 10 am. i wont be able to complete the new task befor i have to wait until wednesday 10 am .. if i complete it right away on wednesday on 10 am again it will have its internal timer setting itself up for 48 hours later in this case friday 10 am .. but if i wait let say 3 hours and it is already wednesday 1pm .. the internal timer will again set the new task copyed over to friday 1pm. i hope im describing it well enough. basicly its a event that has a cooldown and a reecuring nature with a minimum distance in between depending on the moment of completion. do you have any idea how to name something like that or what to look for or even how to create something like that within google calender ? thanks in advance and sorry for the long comment

I am not sure, what I am doing wrong but I am unable to get the layout you have in the time slot on the calendar. My task is list under the date itself in the GMT-05 row. Why is this?

Hi Emily, I wanted to ask that can we have an alternative calendar for a particular day. SO that I only get reminders from that alternative calendar when I want.
Hi Emily! I have a question, how did you make your Google calendar to show so many hours (midnight to 9pm)?
Nice video1
I just zoom out my browser in order to get that done :P
I have been binge watching your vids I love! In your notes do you have different sections of your notebook for each subject?
Yes I do!
