      Was happy to have seen Bruno in person back in 96. Hated backlund but just his acting persona. Which means he did it good. He was one of the greatest pure wrestlers in history. My brother would always use the cf chicken wing on me and I had to submit. Or the sharp shooter. I had to lay there and pretend I was dying lol. Loved wrestling in the late 80s early 90s. I wasn't around before that so I don't know what it was like before that. I know it's not very good nowadays tho in my opinion

    Hulk hogan isn't just a person, it's also a brand, a business, a family friendly business. To openly admit to taking drugs would put an end to all of it. It's also why we have so many 'fake nattys' in the fitness world and why most wrestlers to this day who are clearly using drugs all claim they aren't. It makes business sense to either not talk about drugs or flat out deny using them.

    • @captmorgan101472
      @captmorgan101472 2 года назад +3

      Exactly. These wrestlers are like comic book characters to kids. Adults are well aware that those giants are on heavy doses of steroids. They have to be to look like they do and to recover so fast from the beatings they take in the ring. I have a problem with the guys that refuse to admit to steroid use. Guys like Dwayne Johnson that obviously is taking steroids but refuses to acknowledge it.

    What? Wrestlers use steroids? When I was a kid I remember the Hulk saying that if I took my vitamins I could become strong and have muscles like him. I can deal with the whole steroid thin but the lies are what hurts the most. I kind of feel cheated. Even as a kid I knew they were all taking steroids but the bold lies from someone that you looked up to and trusted are was what hurt the most. Still love him as a wrestler but it changed my whole outlook and respect for him on a personal level. I use to go to Pro bodybuilding competitions and dream of being huge one day. Steroids were always a secret and never openly discussed among the bodybuilders nor were they discussed openly with the fans. These days it is openly discussed and you can even go online and find out what bodybuilders are stacking these days. Now as of the present or in the bodybuilding world today, synthol is frowned upon but some idiots are still shooting this into their bodies and you must have some type of serious insecurities in order to inject that crap. Anyway, thanks for the great childhood memories Hulk. Your steroid use never changed my views about you. Your lies did Brother.
