been waiting on 'the ecology' for some time, I'm letting it marinate so I can't say how great it is just yet. I'm definitely into it but I still need 5-10 more listens.... before I come to a verdict. 'Guess who's Back' goes hard...

I remember showing my mom this documentary . Tripped me out she naming him and his sister and mom and was like that’s vida we know/knew of each other . My mom passed about half a year later after showing her this .

I remember seeing fashawn at a bar on belmont in Fresno, he came up to me and the homies and gave us his Phenom mixtape, i remember listening to that mixtape on repeat that whole night and for months shout out my brother fash, cencal
I jumped on dude early when he did a few tracks w J. Cole I figured he would fuck with dreamville, but when Nas came into the picture then that just took it to another level. This record is fire im not ashamed to play it while my kids are in the car and the themes are mature and real. Im glad dude got a chance to tell his story. Given the cards he was dealt jail, drugs, and self pitty were his future. So it goes to show you even a child of the system can overcome the odds.
